I'll say it again: Hasbro is just so incompetent in everything they do. They had the perfect setup. A partnership with a dev studio (Larian Studios) that gave them a game so good it was pretty much the unanimous GOTY for 2023. All they had to do was make sure they maintained a good relationship with Larian and they'd be set for any DnD related games they wanted to make.
Of course instead of doing that they decided it would be better to burn bridges with Larian and fire all the employees that had been working with the studio during the development of Baulder's Gate 3. And now they're screwed. Because no one they can hire is going to be able to outdo what Larian did with BG3. Not like dev teams are going to be lining up to work for a company that just treated their last partners like shit.
Anyway, I don't like Hasbro. Maybe if/when they go bankrupt we can all crowdfund enough money to buy the rights to MLP off of them.
