    To me it just depends on the day. For the last seven months, due to my depression, life was shit. Everyday I would wake up and I would be surrounded by darkness. Nothing made me happy. But when the depression finally ended, well it was if my life began again. Life is dictated by how we feel and how we view ourselves.

    wow, I step away from the forum for a few days, and it seems to lose the understanding of compassion and acceptance, go figure.

    "Sssorry, Sunburn. I just can't stop sleeping." Atum pulled himself up off the ground. His entire body ached but it didn't matter. He needed push himself so that he could fight and potentially protect Sunburn and Red. Atum knew that both soldiers thought he was dead weight, but that wasn't the case. Due to his anxiety, he always had a hard time coping with reality (and other ponies). But when it came to war, he was able to use that paranoia, frustration, anger and depression to kill the enemy. Atum just hoped that Sunburn wouldn't try to kill him.

    Awesome!! I'm sorry you weren't able to get Fluttershy, but they cards are still worth it. If only I had money, I would purchase a few packs and I agree with Devin McCourty, this needs to be turned into a game... not only would bronies go crazy over it, but it might be able to bring in new fans, people that might not have been originally interested in the show. Whatever the case, I think this is a great addition to the MLP universe.

    I'm finally home! I got a new job and have been working since last night, well I also went to a sobriety support group...but now I'm finally free to do whatever I want. Except, I'm having a hard time keeping my eyes open *fail* How are you all doing? I hope your Wednesday is going well :)

    ((I was saying they were walking towards it, as in the general direction, I guess I should have written it differently)) "Just as long as the world burns and the NLR dies along with it, I'm happy. Then you can enjoy your eternal solitude. Until then we are all stuck together, regardless if we like it or not. So lets try killing the enemy instead of ourselves and have fun while doing it. We can make a game out of it, seeing how many different ways we can kill the enemy. Yes, I like that idea." Atum, continued the discussion but it no longer included Red or Sunburn. ((I'm heading in too, I can't keep my eyes open))

    I was directing it at sunburn, sorry bout the confusion I've changed it in my post so that it reflects that.

    As I thought, he will be good in the middle of a battle. But there is something deeper, something he is trying to hide under all of that anger and hostility. I wonder what it is. Atum followed Sunburn as they walked towards to ponygon. Staring at the ground as he walked, Atum couldn't wait until the fighting started, just to see what these two would do to each other. "And what about you, Sunburn? No one is perfect. I might have my flaws, but you are a little, well off." Atum realized he might have crossed the line with the comment and used his telekinesis to move a knife to his side, in preparation of an attack.

    Between Red's accusations and Suburn's stare, Atum was a bit unnerved. Well more then unnerved, his anxiety was skyrocketing. But that didn't matter, they were about to jump into battle and the one thing Atum found that helped to calm his nerves was killing ponies. Although he might not look strong, Atum had a dark side to him and when pushed, well he didn't like thinking about it. His hooves were shaking, but he was ready to move on. "Well. Um. I guess we should get going. Can we decapitate some NLR soldiers, I want some presents to bring to the ponygon."

    "Oh. Who are you and why are you following me??" Atum looked at red as he was overcome by paranoia and anxiety. It was already a stress having to work with one pony, but another one just sent Atum over the edge. "Stop looking at me, please stop looking at me!!!!" Atum ran an d hid himself behind Sunburn hoping that the pony would protect him from this new "threat."

    Atum was confused by his new companion. He didn't know exactly what was going on through his head, but at the same time he was glad to be with him. Somepony with that much anger would be useful in battle. Noticing that Sunburn had already left, Atum raced down the side of the hill. Without realizing what he was doing, Atum crashed into Sunburn sending them both tumbling down the mountain. As they were falling Atum tried to yell an apology, but it was useless as they were "occupied."

    that would definitely be an interesting twist. I've written a post for atum, after the briefing with celestia.

    Shaken by the bizarre comment Celestia made, Atum realized that his fears were true, every pony wanted to hurt him or worse wanted him dead. But he had to try to suppress his paranoid fears and move forward; nightfall had been captured and Celestia wanted him and this sunburn pony to rescue him. Turning to sunburn, Atum studied the pony trying to determine what was going through his head. "So, well. We. Well. I guess we should leave now." Atum stared at the ground, trying to avoid sunburn's stare.

    So i'm guessing you are the one who writes sunburn? this should be interesting to see where it goes. are we going to write about our entire journey to get nightfall back, or skip ahead to when we are close.

    I made him when I was really depressed and portrayed the feelings I was having at the time, the basis of him is me and my life. sad, but when I get really depressed, its true.

    he might be able too, but atum went into this battle knowing he was going to die, not caring if his life was lost, meaning he has nothing to lose. when leaving his home, he was never coming back...

    Thats fine he can try, atum is one of those quiet sadistic types, he is paranoid of everyone and already thinks they are an enemy, so he is always armed, if sunburn attacks can i slit his throat or does he have to live also? he has never had to act on his impulses, unless pushed.

    So sunburn and I are supposed to rescue nightfall, was he supposed to kill my character? or did I miss something? and do we leave now?

    Ill be right back, my food is done and I need to eat it only should take 10 minutes or so, but I will respond as quick as possible. When you say dangerous does that mean Atum gets to die fighting, killing as many NLR soldiers as possible?? That would be quite amazing. Although he wouldn't want to die, but if it is so, then can he go in spectacular style? (*his goal is not to die, he just wants to be remembered as his life has been so meaningless up to this point)

    Atum ran as fast as he could, hearing that he had been called by Celestia herself. As he neared the guards once again, he thought it would be hilarious if they resisted again, but this time they were waiting for him. Entering the throne room, Atum saw Celestia in all her glory. He couldn't believe the Princess had asked for him, after making such a fool out of himself. He walked up to her and bowed, "Sargent Atum reporting for duty your highness."
