I’ve seen a lot of hate for the Equestria Girls’ outfits, and while I do agree that some leave much to be desired, I don’t really agree with Rarity’s first outfit being atrocious like I’ve heard other people say. It is a bit more simple than some of her other outfits, but it’s supposed to be! She’s going to school in this outfit- she can’t have too many extra bits to worry about. It’s simple, it’s casual, and it’s still fashionable. Same with Fluttershy’s first outfit! I mean, yeah the silhouette of the cast is the same, but they do still look good for the most part! The outfits definitely improved as show went on, though.
