Yes, their powers align with emotions. However, instead of eating them, they manipulate them. Flutterlings either have Absolute Empathy: The ability to sense and understand the emotions and intentions of others at an intense and profound level or Persuasive Empathy: The ability to influence and manipulate the emotions and thoughts of others, persuading them to align with the character's desires or change their perspectives. Sometimes they have both, the Flutterlings usually have horns and fairy/butterfly wings, but due to mixed breeding, it can change, take the Flutterlings image from above. She's a mix of flutterling and batpony, hence why she has fangs and fluffy legs

They are usually small in height but can be pony-sized. They usually live in areas with lots of flowers since they're butterfly-based, but can live in areas without a lot of plants as long as there are a couple of flowers nearby. I guess they'd mainly live in the undiscovered west. You actually helped me make some backstory to the species; These guys are now some sort of cousins to the changlings, experiments who were left in the west for their safety. They've mixed with other breeds over time, though with travelers, some have left the undiscovered west to live in the outside world. Since they're now the cousins of the changlings, I'll call them flutterlings, based on your original name suggestion.

Ok so, I posted a while back that I was doing an art project with 2 old OC’s and I need some help. If we remember correctly, Lime Mint was made to be a set director or something so I gave her 2 gears and a mint leaf but now she’s a blacksmith and I need help making a new cutie mark. A mint leaf will still be added to the design but I need help deciding what else will be there.
