Before anything, I'd like to let you know that I am new here, so I am not sure if I am using the correct forum! Please don't take any of these opinions to heart, this are just some of the things I think and haven't seen a lot of people talk about! ･*:.｡. .｡.:*･゜ﾟ･*☆ 1. Pinkie Pie and Applejack aren't cousins - I feel like this is oblivious or however you say it, but the amount of people I've seen replying with full confidence that they are is scary. Let's remember a few bits of the "Pinkie Apple Pie" episode, at the end of the chapter, Goldie Delicious tells Pinkie that she isn't sure of Pinkie is an Apple or not, because the page is smudged. I always thought that this chapter's lesson was that it doesn't matter if you don't have blood ties with other people, they can still be considered family, but there sure is a lot of people that seem to have missed the last part of this, I am talking about this because I think it's really annoying to have to correct a BIG amount of people when a ship like Pinkie x AJ or BigMac x Marble Pie shows up, it just feels like they didn't watch the episode at all and decide to follow what others say about these two. ･*:.｡. .｡.:*･゜ﾟ･*☆ 2. Princess Luna is overrated - I think this one is more personal or some may call it "biased", but not really, this is just something I've been observing lately, I'll blame this on the hardcore Luna fans mostly. My problem with Luna originates in some chapters, most importantly the "A royal problem" one, were Luna acts like a total meanie to Celestia and nobody seems to bat an eye, but still say Celestia was a bully in that episode. To me, it's a lot meaner when someone ignores you and doesn't even say a word about the breakfast you make, than them just laughing along with other ponies while having fun in THEIR castle. Celestia's issues are downplayed by the fandom and by the show (as always) and Luna's are elevated. There's even people who blame Celestia for having to banish Nightmare Moon, my point is that I've seen so many people drooling for Luna that she's become overrated and kind of insignificant to me. ･*:.｡. .｡.:*･゜ﾟ･*☆ 3. It should have been Sunset, not Starlight. - Starlight is an awful character and you can tell me a wrong if you like, but I am not and I'll never change my mind about it. If they wanted a character to be Twilight's apprentice, it could have been Sunset, she deserved a second chance, Starlight just manipulated a whole entire town because her childhood bestfriend left.. Like what. She also was forgiven way too easily after manipulating a whole town, altering the timeline and being given infinite power thanks to the script writers. (She's also a huge Mary Sue) However, I think Sunset was way more fit for this role and Starlight ruined the show and I am not gonna forgive her. Anyway these are just my opinions!
