  1. Oooh, I don't think I posted here! Hi, everypony. My name is Rowan. Type: Land pony by default. (Morphable forms) Gender: Male Appearance: Ash black and bright crimson red with sky blue eyes. Cutie Mark: Three dark hearts representing the feelings of "determination", "devotion", and "desire". Hobbies: Interested in the fields of Magic, Love and Friendship. Enjoys trying new food and drinks, playing games, reading books, and watching entertainment. Additional Details: I have a character bio for him that is still getting approved... for some reason. But, if you want to know more about me, just ask. I also have a forum thread where you can ask me as well! I draw all of his art myself (and made my Pony Town character), but I wanna make more art of Rowan soon. Looking for ideas!
  2. Cool! All of them are very nice. I think the a-ha - Take On Me one was a very creative use of the, um... Photoshop line art filter? Hehehe. Yeah, it's such a great song! And Luna definitely deserves music befitting of royalty. Hehehe. Oh, yes! Thanks for including this one, since I forgot to. I have seen it before! Mmm... If I were to mildly critique the song I'd say the male's singing style is not really my favorite. The instrumental sound mixing with his voice is not... as great as I was hoping? Maybe the fact that it feels like the instruments are going into double time with the voices kinda throws me off. It would be better if it was a slightly slower tempo. At that point, I guess it would be a different song though! The female singer's voice is nice, though. It's just... the passion put into it, the melody, and everything else about this song is really, really amazing! Though, now that I'm thinking about it, I am sure the voice was done that way for a reason. I've seen a Bandcamp comment that says he's going for a blink-182 style. So, yeah, I can see that! Also, I wanna be clear: Just because I critique a song, doesn't mean I dun like it. I really, really do like this song. I was just thinkin' of ways it could be even better is all! <3
  3. Oh, whoops. Forgot to notice you meant VRChat. I've been wanting to play that as well, just haven't gotten around to it. I have no idea if that model has the right rig/bones for that game. Probably not.
  4. Yeah, I kinda had this problem, too. Just lack of male models. Most 3D models are either paywall, behind some website the requires an account (including the AI-generated slop that I will never use), or just... only has whatever garbo is out there. What I basically did was, well... since I also wanted a player model for Gmod, I just ripped the model that PPM2 uses (it's a Gmod addon), and then I used Crowbar to de-compile it to SMD files, then used Blender with Blender Source Tools to import them (also make sure to add the VTA files because those have the flexes. Finally, I can adjust the "flexes" so it uses the new pony male model, which is what PPM2 is doing under the hood anyway, and the eyelashes can also be hidden this way, though sometimes it looks weird because it's trying to translate Source Engine flexes into shape keys. You can also import wings, a horn, or whatever other details your pony may have. See, the big problem is if you make your pony in PPM2 itself, it only saves a config file. It won't save your actual model, which kinda stinks. This explanation really doesn't do a lot of justice, since it's very involved. I'm sorry... But... yeah, I mean... I guess I coooould handle a request if someone really wanted a custom 3D pony model, just as long as I don't have to do a lot of work to make a custom mane or tail. I have a library of manes and tails that come with classic PPM and PPM2... or at least I think they are meant for SFM as well, not sure. Uh... I don't want to do a lot of work since I'm still trying to rework my own custom mane and tail right now. Lol.
  5. Rowan should have remembered to introduce who he was! "Oh, my gosh. I am sorry. Hehehe. My name is Rowan--Rowan Ardency." Noting that he pronounced it close to "row-in". "But you can just call me Rowan. Probably easier that way~" He gave a single nod. "Well, it is very nice to meet-cha Rapid Quill." He gave a little blush when you nicely called him an Alicorn, "Aww, well... I don't like to think of myself as... royalty or whatever. You know, I just..." He started to shyly rub at one of his own front legs... "Hmmm... hehehe-he." He glanced back and forth between your eyes and the ground just a little, "Uh, well... I'm pretty okay at remembering faces, but not, uh..." He drew out a long and audible sigh, "Names are not my strong suit... not unless I've been around with somepony for a week or two!" When he was asked if he'd like to meet that childhood unicorn friend again whom gave him the horn, he sprouted back upright, "Oooh, yes, yes. Of course I'd like to see him again! But the thing is, it was soooo long ago. I don't even know where he is, or... um... or even what he does, or what he looks like as a fully grown pony now! Well, jeez... what am I supposed to do?" he wondered. Sure would be nice to meet him again. He just gave a one last little addendum to about his teacher in magic school, "Oh, I think you would have liked my teacher back in that day, too. If that's not too weird to say. I think everypony likes her! Ah-heh..." When he heard you say that last line about friendship, something in his heart reacted to that, giving a subtle frown, but tried to hide it. He could sense your... desires... But, for now, he tried his best to brush those feelings aside for now. Yes, it was true. He could levitate other things--and himself--at least maybe at least 20 feet (6 meters) off the ground. However, any higher and his magical grip would sorta slip. It also depended on the weight of and of the things he was levitating in question, too. It was also harder to focus on levitating himself than anything else, so he didn't do that very often. His trick was instead to imagine a sturdy floor underneath him lifting him up, rather than imagining himself lifting up... himself... if that made any sense. He also didn't know teleportation was really that hard for unicorns! All he did was just vividly picture and imagine the place he wanted to go to, but maybe it really was tricky for someone not used to doing it more often. It did use a lot of his magical energy to do it, so he didn't do it often. "Oh... Oh, really...?" He gave a nervous look and laugh, "Well I didn't... w-wanna... s-show off... or anything..." He said with shifty eyes, looking a bit disappointed in himself. When asked about drinks and snacks, he thought about it... "Hmmmm... I like whatever I'm in the mood for, usually. I mean, I'll try anything, even mushrooms, as long as they're fully cooked of course. And olives, and garlic bread, and ice cream, and pizza, and pretzels, and cake, and brownies, and uh--Ahee, yeah, a lot of things. Hard to pick a favorite. If you every come to Pony Town with me, Maybe I'll treat you to some 'special' cider. Hehehe." He did wanna say one last thing, "Making friends really is awesome, but I've also been trying to study the powers of love as well, and how that can also relate with friendship, and what it could mean when those powers are combined together. So, after I dropped out of the School of Friendship, I sort of wrote... a research paper! Hehehe... For now, I call it: The Elements of Passion." He explained further in detail, taking a look at his notes, "I wrote down, 'friendships bring about harmony, and love brings about passion', I've been doing my research to try and figure out what the six Elements of Passion truly are. And if someone with all the twelve elements in their heart can truly be the most magical being of them all, and what could that mean? Are there even six elements, just like the ones for harmony? What truly is love, and what ways can it be expressed, and what bonds can be formed with it, just like friendship. And also... how can the two truly be combined together. That's my lifelong goal. That's what I want to figure out!" He beamed happily with a wide smile, looking all around his study area. And, yes, there were various posters of Twilight Sparkle over his wall, since he was an admirer of her. He gave a little chuckle and looked back embarrassed with a toothy grin, "Oh, sorry, I just get so excited whenever I get talk about magic, and love and friendship!" <3
  6. Oh yeah, this is a fun one. Now bare with me as I try to type the Mane 6 and Spike, with explanations. Could be wrong though! Twilight Sparkle - INFP She is definitely an INFP, the mediator type. Introverted at heart, and loves to read. She has a strong Fi core which means she is very in tune with her internal feelings. Having Ne and Te means she is inquisitive, asks a lot of questions, and is organized. However, having Te as the inferior function means that it takes more and more time to develop as they learn and grow (makes sense when Twilight starts learning more about friendship throughout the series.) The Tertiary Si function helps recall memories, thoughts, and helps her reminisce of the the good times, which she does, occasionally. When Si is used improperly, it can be used to imagine bad things that won't happen (sound familiar)? The ego type of INFP is ENFJ, the teacher. This also goes in line with how INFP types really enjoy teaching, even if they are not naturally the greatest at it, because becoming the ego type can become exhausting over time. Introverts like to store their energy more than anything. Applejack - ISTJ I wouldn't say Applejack is... the complete poster child of a typical ISTJ, but part of her can-do, no-nonsense attitude does comes from her personality here. She is definitely not a feeler, but knows how to express her emotions in a mature and kind way when she needs to. The function stack is: Si, Te, Fi, Ne. As you can see, Ne is the weakest function. A common trait of ISTJs is that they like to ask questions when things don't make sense to them, but they often rely on Si instead, which is much stronger. And that's why a lof of them adhere to tradition, and the saying, "if it isn't broke, don't fix it." The ego type of ISTJ is ESTP, the entrepreneur. You can see this ego part shine the most when she wants to try and sell stuff to make more money for her family in the Gala episode, or when she learns about the problems and fixes the pipe in the spa in Applejack's "Day" Off. I can't really think of anything else off the top of my head that would also help prove she is an ISTJ, but let me know! Rainbow Dash - ISTP Okay, hear me out. First of all, please don't make the mistake that Rainbow Dash is an extrovert by the way she acts. I do think she is a particular, well-balanced and healthy kind of ISTP that is an ambivert. Trust me when I say that I have met plenty of ISTPs in my lifetime from childhood to adulthood. And, I can tell you just from personal experience, I simply know how to pick apart an ISTP and an ESTP any day of the week. First of all, one key point is that the ISTP and the INFP personality types really clash with each other. Sound familiar? This is why Rainbow Dash has a harder time getting along with Twilight Sparkle initially, because their archetypes are wired so differently. On the other hand, an ESTP has no problem getting along with an INFP better, especially on a relational stance. ISTPs are sensory lovers with a thirst for internal knowledge Ti. She loves to learn all about flying, and is able to keep information in her head about things she is interested in. And because Ti is supported by Se, this makes taking in real-world information very easy. One reason why she is known for "learning things differently" is that some ISTPs (but not all!) do not like to learn things through reading. A lot of them like a hands-on approach, or just prefer to learn things their own way in general. The ego type of ISTP is ESTJ, the executive. In most of the cases, I've seen RD's ego archetype used for a lot of negative things when she tries to change the weather and stuff. Or, perhaps, this type is used for funny sabotage. But there are moments where this ego type is used for good, like when she is fighting for her friends, and trying to protect them, or take charge. This ego type, then used properly, can really help her shine. Otherwise, it can be used in a stubborn and selfish way. Rarity - ENFP I will admit, I have the hardest time trying to type Rarity because I don't know too many personality types like hers. Honestly, I could be completely wrong. ENFPs are actually not as overly extroverted as one might think. The function stack is: Ne, Fi, Te, Si. Having the dominant function be extroverted intuition and paired with introverted feeling is a great combination. She is in-tune with her feelings and knows how to come up with ideas for things that she thinks herself and other people will like. It's probably why she is so geared towards fashion. One thing that might make me think she is ENFP is because of the way ENFPs help support INFPs like Twilight well, even if it means sometimes it can feel like the ENFP "overpowers" the INFP's ideas at times. Another thing is how ENFPs relate to ISTJs like Applejack. If she was an INFP or an INFJ, then I'm sure she would get along much better with Applejack. But check this out. Look at both function stacks: ISTJ function stack is: Si, Te, Fi, Ne ENFP function stack is: Ne, Fi, Te, Si This is no coincidence. This is how MBTI works. You can see they are completely reversed! While ENFPs are used to coming up with new ideas, ISTJs hate trying new things that they are not used to, and prefer to use Si. Whereas, for an ENFP, traditions seems stifling, boring and not very creative. Makes sense when Rarity did not want to use Sweetie Belle's "traditional" idea in that one episode in season six. The ego type of ENFP is INFJ, the idealist (or advocate). And, say it with me, INFJ is one of the rarest personality types. Yes, it's true! I also think she is an ENFP by the way that Spike relates to her. And, yes, I will get into that later when I type Spike's personality. Characteristics of an INFJ ego is being able to help or advocate for others when they need it. INFJ ego can be used in nasty ways if used negatively. Pinkie Pie - ESFP I will say that in a lot of cartoon shows, ESFPs are often overly exaggerated, and maybe even used as comic relief characters. However, I think in this show, they did a really great job in portraying all of the nuances of an ESFP as well, especially once she started to compete with Cheese Sandwich. We got the first glimpse of her really being sad and upset, along with, well... her psychological trauma she had when she was trying to replace her friends with piles of rocks! Uh, anyway... ESFPs are outgoing, like to perform for others, and they are also deceptively very smart, too. Their function stack is: Se, Fi, Te, Ni. These are the same functions shared by the INTJ, ENTJ, and ISFP. All four of these personality types are more down to earth than people realize... usually! The ego type for ESFP is ISFJ, the defender. She knows when to look out for her friends. This type comes out the most when she is trying to help defend Fluttershy, usually from pranks or bad mishaps, like in the first episode with Gilda. Fluttershy - ISFP Alright, here we have the ISFP, the adventurer. This is probably one of the most common personality types in the world along with ISTPs, ISFJs and ISTJs. But I suppose there is a great reason for that. ISFPs are usually very nice, kind, very down to earth, easy to make fun of, and always remind me of my mother!--Heheh-heh, just kidding! Now, just because people call it "the adventurer" doesn't always mean they want to go on every single adventure. It just means they prefer to take the adventures of life! Staying open-minded and "marching to the beat of their own drum" are two of the best ways I can describe ISFPs. They go wherever life takes them, and I think that is a truly amazing thing to be able to naturally do for themselves. What else can I say about ISFPs? You know them, you love them. They're great. The ego type of ISFP is ESFJ, the consul. So, I will admit, just like ENFPs, I don't know all of the particular inner-workings of an ESFJ that well, but I know they share a lot of similarities to ENFJs, but with some key differences. ESFJs like to help people, but they stick to what they know works. I would say Fluttershy's ESFJ ego comes out when she is using "The Stare" or something like that. Maybe there could be more examples. Feel free to add. Spike - INTP (Or possibly INTJ) Oooh, now we get to my favorite personality type, and why I just love Spike so much! He's an INTP, just like me! Now, uh... a lot of times, INTPs are one of the most heavily mistyped personalities out there. I've talked to plenty of INTJs before Online, and I really don't think Spike is INTJ. INTJs just act different. However, I am not sure how an INTJ acts during childhood is the thing. I know how INTJs act like as adults, but I'm not sure about it. Since Spike is a child, that means the rest of the functions are not fully matured, yet. Here might be some signs that Spike is INTP: - INTPs help support INFPs in a similar way ISTPs help support ISFPs. So, listen. Here's another thing that I know about MBTI, all thinking and feeling functions (Fe, Fi, Te, Ti) are called "judging functions". They help people make choices, hence why they are called that way. The difference is how they are directed. Introverted functions are directed inward (not openly expressed), whereas extroverted functions are usually expressed. The sensory and intuition functions (Se, Si, Ne, Ni) are all "perception functions". Makes sense? Here's why this is so important to understand. Since an INFP like Twilight uses Fi, Ne as the first two functions, whereas an INTP uses Ti, Ne first. Both of them use Ne to express what ideas they are thinking, but having a strong Ti core means the Ne expression is more rounded towards internal thoughts, rather than internal feelings. This could also mean INTPs and INFPs can have difficulty understanding where they are both coming from, but since Ne is shared easily, just like Se, these perception functions are easily understood from a core value. Let's also pair together Fluttershy (ISFP) with Rainbow Dash (ISTP). These are two extremely common pairings. Rainbow Dash usually complains about Fluttershy's slowness, timidness, and such, but is often there to help support her reasoning whenever Fluttershy is wrong about something. Because of the similar ways that RD and Fluttershy support each other in their friendship and keep each other in check, I think Spike and Twilight Sparkle do the same thing, just in a slightly different way, since they all actually have different personalities. - INTPs (and INTJs) are naturally attracted to ENFPs Something about how the ENFP (like Rarity) portrays themselves is attractive to INTPs. Maybe just because they seem smart, good-looking, or just some loveliness about their personality. I'm not sure! But I do know that these two personality types are made for each other. It can't just be a coincidence! Just look at how well Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash get along once they start trusting each other, and learning how to accept their differences. They even do fun things together! - INTPs (and INTJs) get along well with ISTPs like Rainbow Dash So, I keep bringing up that Spike could also be an INTJ, but I am not 100% sure. It's only because, like I said... in childhood, only the first two functions are mostly developed. In this case, it would either be Ti, Ne or Ni, Te. But the rest of the functions, the tertiary and inferior functions are not well developed until adulthood. Children are always harder to type than grown-ups. That's true almost all the time. But Spike does get along with Rainbow Dash in terms of the way she handles logic. I mean, heck, INTPs can even naturally get along well with ISTJs like Applejack most of the time. INTPs (and INTJs) struggle with getting along with more of the irrational personalities or just touchy-feely things, which is why Spike usually gets afraid--or just unwilling--to want to interact with some ponies sometimes. The ego type of INTP is ENTJ, the commander. This trait comes out the most clearly in the episode where Spike wants to take charge and tell people in the Canterlot what to do so Twilight can get some sleep in her bedroom in one of the castle towers. Sorry, I can never remember the names of these episodes! --- Whew, okay. That's about it. What do you all think? Am I on the nose, or a bit off? Oh, and just to clarify since I couldn't remember the exact name of it, when I say "ego type", I am really referring to something called the "shadow type". You can look that up if you want to.
  7. Rowan gave an inquisitive look over and a purse of his lips when you asked him in his horn and wings were real, he turned around to face ya, and made sure to clarify one hundred percent, "Yep, totally real. I know, isn't it amazing! It pretty much all started back when I asked a very talented Unicorn in my class when I was a colt to put a horn on my head. That Unicorn was soooo great at magic, but it's just too bad I had forgotten their name. I can only remember just a little of what he looked like. I would come back home, and carefully hide the horn on my head with a cooool hat so my parents didn't notice. I'm sure they would have freaked out! At least, that's what I thought..." He continued, "So anyway, I go back up to my room, and just start... uh... quietly practicing small magic spells one at a time, making sure my parents didn't notice. I had a huge, giant book. It must have been at least 600 pages of getting started with beginner's magic tricks. I was pretty good about doing my homework early. I was kind of a smart kid, but hated math. Nowadays, I actually kinda like math more as an adult. I'm kinda weird! But, you know... I think science and magic was more what I really liked. Reading was okay, too. But I hated history. I think history tests are just the worst. I always do bad at them. But, uh... sorry if that made you upset... you know... as a writer. I think my opinion on stuff has normalized a bit more now as I've gotten older." He looked down to the ground for a few seconds, trying to remember the rest of this part of his colthood story, "Oh, right!--Uhh... eventually, my parents either figured it out--like, they figured out what I was doing in my room. I was getting so good at magic that I could eventually replicate spawning my own horn on my head, and making it appear and disappear, once I know what it was like having a horn in the first place. I was kind of surprised my parents were just in awe, and more proud of me than disappointed. Mmmm, I am so lucky to have really supportive parents. It turns out they did help enroll me in some magic schools, at least the ones that were around here. But it was nothing like being in Canterlot. The ones in the suburbs where I grew up in, in Baltimare, were lacking. It was a small class, but actually, the smaller class size gave em more time to talk with my unicorn teacher. And she was very nice. Gee, I wish I could remember her name, too... Awwww well... She said I was a very 'well-gifted student', and that makes me smile inside each time I remember those words. Hehehehe." He then heard Rapid talking about the changelings, "Oh, I know they're good now. Back then, they weren't! But is just goes to show what the magic of love and friendship can really do once you spread it!" <3 He gave his eyes a little idle blink as you got sad while explaining why you didn't like flying, "Hmmmmm... Oooohh, I see. I am really sorry to hear that. I guess, you know..." he scratched the hoof on the back of his own head, "flying is not for everyone. I definitely get that. And, uh, yeah! I don't tell or gossip or aaaanything like that, because I sure wouldn't want any other pony to tell embarrassing things about be, either!" He gave a strong nod and glowing smile. Rowan turned around and started to softly walk over and put this front leg hooves on a windowsill, folding them as he gazed out the window (assuming we were in some sort of room, or maybe cafe area having this discussion). He turned his body around to look towards ya, "Oh, yeah. Of course. Teleportation is a pretty basic spell, isn't it? But you probably already know the biggest problem of teleportation, right: Lack of verticality!" He explained his reasoning a bit more, "So yeah, I guess you could teleport where you wanted to, but without wings, can't stay up in the air, huh? Unless you had some sorta... levit--" He paused and held his tongue in a sense for a bit longer, "--Uh, oh, sorry... I got carried away." He blushed bashfully, and turned back around, facing the window again, putting his head on his front hooves. He totally was not acting as modest and empathetic as he usually does, but he loves explaining what is going on in his head a lot, too. It's a hard thing for him to balance. He felt a little bad, "Well, uh... m-maybe flying just takes some... getting used to, right? If you would ever like any help... I can... fly a bit slower." He said humbly with his eyes peeking over.
  8. *Carefully an courteously listens to your story, giving a gentle nod and turning his head to look at you as you were looking over him.* Oh, I certainly did grow up as a land pony. But watch...! *He made a little magic poof of bright blue along his sides, then his Pegasus wings appeared... just like magic! "You see, I've become... pretty proficient at magic because I'm just so... crazy about it! He giggled and started to eye upwards to his own forehead. And with another poof. He made his unicorn horn visible. Well, by now, he just looked like an Alicorn. "Uuhhhh, about my transformations--It's a long story, but I'm sure you'd like to hear it someday?" He put his right hoof over his lips, "And I promise I'm not a Changeling, either!" He looked back up and concentrated. With another poof, he hid his horn once again, leaving him with just his wings. It was really just that easy for him to make his horn and wings appear and disappear just like that, because of his somewhat strong internally-honed magic. "Awwww, you have a friend that helps you fly? That's nothing to be embarrassed about! In fact, I think that's really nice. Hmmmm, flying was really hard for me, and it's even more difficult since I started kinda late. I'm also really not the fastest. Jeez, I swear, some of those Pegasi that have been doing it since birth can always manage to outrun me." He then heard the other pony talk about Luna. "Well, I guess you're lucky. I mean everypony gets nightmares once in a while... I think so anyway! Would be real weird to never have those kinda dreams. But at least when you wake up, it's aaaalll over, and you can rest easy again. <3"
  9. Ooooh, that one's cool. I love it. I haven't watched Phineas and Ferb, but those are some good tunes. I am unaware of this meme! Thanks for letting me know. The music is really neat here, too. Oh yeah. I love Weird Al, especially since I know he voice acts Cheese Sandwich! Hehehe.
  10. *Rowan gives a pleasantly handsome smile back.* Do you have any hobbies? Oh, no. Don't worry about that. I like it when people can be forward. I get it, cause I'm also worried about being too forward myself! Uh, let me think. My main hobby is magic. I just looove, love-love it. It's so cool and amazing. I love learning about it, reading books, trying new foods, since I'm kind of a foodie. Uh... mmmh, probably also just... learning new things and making things. I'm a creator of sorts~ Hehe. Also can you remember your dreams? Ooohh, maybe I remember some of them. I have a counter-question: Do you ever get any nightmares and get visited and comforted by Princess Luna, or does that rarely happen to some ponies? Well, in terms of my dreams, I have silly and funny ones, sometimes crazy ones! But nothing I can point out in particular. I like the dreams where I get to jump and fly around really, really high and still be okay and not break my legs! I mean... I can already fly, but not that fast. Heehee. Dreams that I really don't like are about my teeth falling out! No thanks. Or, like, losing my hair and getting laughed at for being bald! Or getting bullied by fillies as a colt... eh... I don't like to talk about my past that much, anyway...
  11. Yeah, pretty much. Just had to improvise with the hair style though. The one from Pony town is a little bit more accurate!
  12. Awwwww, yeah, that sucks. PT is kind of annoying that way with their stricter and unfair moderation, sometimes. Luckily, I am also on Ashes Town as well! Someone from PT actually told me about it, too.
  13. Oh, yes. I love it. You play Pony Town, too? You can message me and ask to see me on there, if you wanna. Thanks a lot! Ooohh, maybe. I actually like to RP, but I don't always have all the time in the world for it. I can get myself busy from time to time, and I'm not really that great at planning and brainstorming, but I can try my best. I just find it more fun to jump into a RP with a specific setting and see how the characters interact with each other at first, but I know that can be off-putting for some people, or make others nervous, so I try to compensate with a little more planning if needed. Hehe.
  14. Wow, cool, so I had no idea someone planted a rowan tree right next to the sidewalk close-ish to me. I was able to recognize the tree immediately when I saw it! You can tell it's rowan by the distinct shape of the berries that mostly come in bunches, and the three leaflets that come in pairs of three! Though... I think the leaves a little... yellow, showing that it's a bit sunburnt, and I'm not sure if they are even completely ripe. But I'll probably just end up using them as a little art reference rather than just freezing 'em, boiling 'em and eating 'em. Yeah, I read the whole process to get them edible and tasty. Not sure if I wanna try it myself.
  15. Ooooh, hey and hello, fellow artist. I was wondering—and no pressure if you wanna say no—Would you like to make a banner for my pony Rowan? It can be something quick. I might use it as a temp banner for a while... like I'll be more than happy to show it off for a few months before I think about making my own! But, um... I wanted him to be drawn holding a small branch with a bunch of red rowan berries. Be creative! I really wanna see what cool or cute things you can come up with. I can provide a full ref of Rowan if you're curious. Favorite color is red, of course! My cutie mark is... well... black hearts. Hehehe. Maybe those can also be in the banner somewhere.
  16. Oooh, yes. Thank you. Oh, I'd love to meet him. And thanks! *Bows down politely* Well, thank ya, Princess. I do hope I can continue to feel welcome here.
  17. How many cats have you had? Oooh, I like cats, especially the more friendly ones. Now, don't take this the wrong way, but I think I'm more of a dog person! I've also wanted to always have a... maybe a friendly lizard as a pet. Hehe. But I dunno. I might be preeeetty bad with pets. I already have a hard enough time trying to take care of myself as it is! Are you afraid of needles? Mmmmm, uh-huh. I would just say I don't like them. But if I have to get a prick to get healthy real quick, then, uh... I'll just have to do it! When's the last time you dug a hole? Hehe, I love it—That's kind of a funny question. But, um... I guess I don't really dig holes? I leave that job to the construction ponies. I'm also not much into gardening, but I do know you have to dig small, itty-bitty holes to plant seeds. If you could have lunch with anyone in your local area, who would it be and why? Oh, well, since I live in Pony Town now, there aaaalways seems to be food just left randomly everywhere there—It's pretty great! You can just sit at an outdoor table or a picnic blanket, and there will just be a basket of fruit or stuff! There's also the patio spot with baked goods, and—Ooooh, you should check out the bakery there, too. They have vegetables, more fruit, and kebabs at the food stand near the, uh... I guess they call it the plaza. Yeah, you should really come to Pony Town, and maybe I'll even have some lunch with you... o-only if you wanna. Hehehe!
  18. "Hello, hellos!"
  19. Oh, yes. I hope you've been enjoying yourself here, too. Hehe. Mmm, red and black, too. Ooooooh. I'll try my very best! Aww. I may be random, but I promise I'm not a "ran-dumb".
  20. Hey, so, I haven't seen a thread on this, and I was searching for it. I promise! I'm kind of new to the fandom. I guess I'm 15 years too late. Hehe. What kind of PMVs does everypony like? Please share your favorites here. I'm looking for mostly the ones that are... also not as popular! I'd looove to hear your niche picks! Like I know about some of the BronyDanceParty ones and the popular ones with Black Gryph0n and Apple Bloom's voice actress covering a lot of M.J's songs. In terms of those, I really like Come Alive, and also Fighting Back by BlackGryph0n & Baasik. Those ones were the most musically interesting ones so far and just how they use the musical chords in a very emotional and uplifting perspective. What I mean to say is... they're really cool! Speaking of cool, I also really like the 20% Cooler PMV made by Ken Ashcorp, and remixed by Alex S. That freaking video has been stuck in my head for 3 days straight! Help! Am I allowed to post YT links here? I guess I can try. If I can, I'll link them. If not, you can always search it yourself, lazybones! Hehehe. Oooooookay. Let's see if this works!
  21. Ooooh, another red pony? Nice to meet'cha! Hello, hellos. And thank ya. Thanks a lot. I hope to be able to check things out more when I can.
  22. Hey everypony, I'm Rowan! I have plenty of questions to ask myself and others... uh, in life, I guess? Buuuut maybe... maybe there is somethin' you'd like to ask me instead, first? Ask away!
  23. Besides MLP... I'm finishing up Season 6 right now. Uh... right now I'm trying to also binge watch Animaniacs and Tiny Toons. Both of them are Spielberg animations, and man are they great. I grew up with some of the shows on TV, but have never watched every single episode of them. The first shows I grew up with were actually Looney Tunes. The humor is that show might be considered too dry and dated for a lot of the younger crowd now. But, growing up, that was my bread and butter, as well as those silly Hannah Barbara cartoons! I was never really into Nickelodeon, but I kinda regret it, cause I could have watched Spongebob growing up. It's on the to-do list! And of course, in order to stay more... cultured, I do watch live action movies. Plenty of those to still do. Okay, that's enough about cartoons and movies. I also do dabble in video games. Well, yes, even in my mid 30's. Thing is, gaming is for all ages too, right? Just certain games I cannot really stand playing, especially competitive games. So you'll never see me playing those battle royale games or fighting games, and I'm veeeery picky on the kind of first-person shooter games I like to play. But I do really like puzzle games (I can recommend some really good ones). Right now my main addiction has been Gmod, because you can make ponies in it! Uh... I also like to play Pony Town as well from time to time. You can ask to see me on there if ya care. But, otherwise, I just play other non-pony related stuff under my furry account name, such as Monster Hunter and stuff. I like platformer games a lot as well. Grew up with Nintendo games after all. My first console was the N64, and it's still my favorite one! GameCube games are great, too. I also like to draw. I've been drawing for over 15 years after all! I'll post my ref sheet of rowan in another thread. Sooo... I guess that means I can also contribute to the creative corner. I'm also passionate about music. I like good quality music, not most of the modern pop stuff that's on that kids listen to today. I love dad rock, but I also love good 90's techno. I know some of the most creative and interesting musical artist out there, but I'd love to hear what kind of music most Pony pals listen to! Hmmmmm! Okay, that's about it. If you say hi, I'll make sure to say hi back. If you want to ask Rowan himself any questions, I know where to make a thread for that. But I'll see you all again soon, hopefully! And thanks for readin'. - Rowan <3
