  1. It takes something real fierce to make me like Scootaloo, the fact that this episode could do that puts it up there for my favorite episodes. Not to mention it had Luna which made it even better :) a great one altogether.

(Did I mention all the "ermegerd!" moments throughout?)

  2. Anybody else feel that mono-red is getting screwed over this rotation? It is losing all it's best cards.

-Any 1 mana 2 damage instants

    -arc trail

    -koth of the hammer

    -chandra's phoenix

    -shrine of burning rage

I doubt there's going to be a new red PW until Gatecrash, because the new Gideon is obviously going to be R/W (unless he comes out this set, but I doubt it)

  3. There are different levels of things being spoiled. There's

    A) Vague summaries (e.g. "After trying to warn Princess Celestia about the return of the wicked Nightmare Moon, Twilight Sparkle and Spike travel to Ponyville.") Usually don't spoil much that you don't learn in the first 25% of the show/movie/book.

    and

    B) The Ending (e.g. "Twilight and her new friends learn about the magic of friendship and use the Elements of Harmony to stop Nightmare Moon and return her to the peaceful Princess Luna.") This is pretty bad, but you can at least argue that the journey is more important than the destination.

    and

    C) The entire plot (e.g. "After trying to warn Princess Celestia about the return of the wicked Nightmare Moon, Twilight Sparkle and Spike travel to Ponyville where they meet Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack. Nightmare Moon returns to Ponyville to bring darkness over Equestria. Twilight and her new friends learn about the magic of friendship by traveling through the Everfree Forest and use the Elements of Harmony to stop Nightmare Moon and change her back to the peaceful Princess Luna."). Why would you even watch it after reading this?

A is usually okay. If I saw a episode summary about the length of A (which is about what is on the program guide I have for my T.V) I wouldn't feel spoiled at all after watching the full episode.

B can be bad, but there's still much to be seen

C is just like, is there a reason to watch it anymore?

The worst I have ever been spoiled of something was B, before I went back to finish reading the Harry Potter series. The books were still enjoyable, but I kept feeling impatient to reach the end because I already knew what it was. Since then I've been trying to avoid that sort of thing for everything else I plan to watch or read.

  4. DW the breeding pool will be in gate crash, so it's all good :D. I've never been this stoked for a set. I'm so excited, much rejoicing to be had.

So thosegoing to the PR, which guild are you intending to play? I myself have chosen Golgari(Black green)

But, that's like in 3 more months :( Does anyone know for sure if Birds of Paradise is coming back at least?

Also I havn't decided what guild I'm doing because I'm not sure if I can make it to the prerelease this time. I might be on the road.

Anyways what do people think of the new spoilers? (And new Jace)

I like the art style this set has at least, some of these other cards look like really creative design. I'm glad Scars of Mirrodin is rotating out. That set had the most broken and badly designed cards ever. Most of the bombs seemed like

Person 1: "let's see, what's the most broken we can put on a card?"

Person 1: (designs the Swords, obliterator, praetors, wurmcoil, batterskull)

Person 2: "But sir, none of these make sense flavorfully and are too powerfull!"

Person 1: "Who cares? They're strong, going to be worth a lot of money, and going to be able to singlehandedly win you games. What's not to like?

    Me:

  5. So i lookd at the new spoilers for return to Ravnica, much rejoicing was to be had with the spoiling of Shock lands :D, seems like they're trying to push modern, and i ahve no problem with this.

Nooooooo!!! Simic lands are not returning yet  My G/U is going to be terrible compared to many of the other colored pairs :( Hopefully there's some G/U support in the set. So far no good cards to add to my deck. Hopefully a cool PW comes around.
  6. So I was flipping through pony videos today and I looked at a particular comment tree on a video that was the typical case of a brony trying to kill a troll. That's when i came across something I didn't understand.

I know somebody can answer this because I've heard stories of YT trolls converted to bronies...

What makes somebody who hates ponies want to go on pony YT videos and call people fags/retarded/female when there is no gain other than pissing people off and looking like a dumbass?

I don't quite understand this train of though  could somebody with some experience explain?

  7. Also anypony know where would be the best place to buy Morrowind for the Xbox offline I've checked multiple game shops but didn't find anything.

There's a copy at the card store I go to. Next time you're in northern Utah you should come check it out. Or you can just call them up and ask if they can ship it to you or something.

Here's their website just for lulz http://gamegridgaming.com/

  8. So I was thinking, if Fluttershy somehow did a sonic rainboom (or any pegasus for that matter), would it come out as a rainbow like when Dash does it, or would it just be a big pink explosion? (or whatever color the pegasus's mane is).

Not saying that this could happen as Rainbow Dash is the only one fast enough to do it, this is more of "how do you think a rainboom works?" thread. Do you think it always turns into a rainbow, or if it just depends on the colors of the pegasus in question.

I'm really drowsy by the way so don't hate me if this is a dumb idea.

  9. Never played any except for Skyrim, which in my opinion is amazing, so if was Oblivion was ten times better, HOW GOOD IS MORROWIND?!

It is had to decide which is better because they are so different. It is like asking which flavor of ice cream you like best, chocolate or vanilla? They are both similar because they are ice cream, but they are really different that you can't decide except for which you prefer. I personally prefer Skyrim out of them all, but Morrowind is so good too.
  10. So here's one thing I rather liked about Skyrim, and that is the automatic regeneration of health and magic. Now don't scrutinize me for liking my games "easy", but I find the auto regeneration makes the game a lot better than Daggerfall where you had to do an extended rest after pretty much every battle. I personally don't see much of a difference from sitting and regenerating your health for free than being able to keep adventuring while your character heals. The same downside goes with Morrowind from what I remember.

So in that respect I also like Skyrim better because in TES 2&3 a magic-based character is almost unplayable because you run out of magic too quickly and spend too much time resting to get it back. Skyrim, you still have to wait, but I'd rather be able to make progress instead of taking and extended rest constantly.

Anybody else feel the same way? Also don't give me the bull where I just like things being easier, I think it actually makes the game more fun because you don't have to spend time resting and you can use magic much easier. Also Daggerfall is currently my favorite game I own (I don't have Skyrim anymore), if that shows you I don't need things easier to appreciate them.

  11. @,

That's a silly reason to dislike a game

Okay my bad for not clarifying. I don't dislike Morrowind as a whole, just that and a few things I didn't like when building a custom class (I wish the premade classes were more balanced).

I still really like Morrowind and spent many happy hours playing it and exploring dungeons and the such. It is just the things I like in Morrowind I like in Skyrim and Daggerfall better, and the things that bug me are lessened in Skyrim

  12. I dislike Morrowind because there is this one place you can find moonsugar early in the game but if you do you can't go to any stores without being scolded, so I just had to leave it the rest of my playthroughs =/ I liked Skyrim the most out of the three I played because of how dynamic the scenes are, how beautiful the landscape is, and the le veling system was the best out of them IMO

  13. I've played II, III, and V, but the farthest I've gotten in a game is on Daggerfall. I usually choose a nord in most of the game, but in Daggerfall you need to choose a High Elf to get the free immunity to paralysis, otherwise you can't survive against many of the enemies. I hope to get to playing Skyrim a bit more soon, but I never got much farther than the time when you get your dragon power. I'm hoping to try out the Pinkie Pie Skyrim mod one of these days.
