    You might want to bring it down a notch. I don't think he was trying to be offensive or anything I think he is simply trying to get a better understand of where we're coming from.

    I think people are attractive but as an asexual I have no desire to physically connect with someone on an intimate level. An intense platonic relationship is all I'm looking for if I want a relationship at all. I'm also perfectly happy on my own.

    Exactly! It's stupid people assume that you need to have sex to make a relationship work. You can live a happy, fulfilling life without it. I'm perfectly happy with my relationship with my best friend/boyfriend. I don't need nor want to have sex with him or anyone else. Our relationship is purely platonic but I get everything I want and need from him. The understand and care without the intimacy.
