Question: What exactly is "Slant Rhyme"? I heard someone describe the lyrics of one of my tunes as having such (Gloomy Town, to be exact).
slant rhymes are two words that have similar sound to them but aren't exactly complete rhymes. The words "soon" and "you" are slant rhymes.

It means exactly what they sent, man
It means that they have their hoity toity reviewers looking over it to see if it is "worthy" enough to be on their site
but I've never had anyone say that before, it always just to says to the queue straight up, so why are they saying to review this time?
-
K so I sent in a song to eqd and got an email back saying "to review" instead of "to the queue" like they normally put. So what does "to review" mean?
-
I would prolly be like "ok where the heck am i" and then go back to bed If I woke up as a pony, I'd prolly do the same thing

sounds neoclassical. also sounds entirely digital. did you use a program for all the instruments. cuz if your actually playing that. the tone is the most digital thing i ever heard.
haha good you noticed it! and yeah I wrote the whole thing in guitar pro, didn't play a single one of those instruments. I originally started recording the guitar and then realized how crappy my recording sounded, so I tabbed it out in guitar pro to get a sense of what it would sound like, and It sounded way better when I just exported the audio from guitar pro. However, for the next cover I do, I plan on actually recording the guitar and bass, and my drum set is an old simmons electronic drum set, which actually sound's worse than the guitarpro drums so I'll probably just stick with those drums.

Yeah you're probably right, and yeah I agree its more of a rock piece than a metal piece but I had already made the video when I had figured that out. EQD has all the power to make people more famous in the community, but I guess they like to stick to the people who are already noticedI don't know if I would call it metal, and I know were not talking about the genre it is, but I believe it would be more of a rock type genre, it's just not heavy enough in my opinion, but on to why your not getting on EqD, I to thought I could get one of my pony works on there, which was a song dj sessions, but never got it on there, I don't know, they only look at the famous people and if their not famous they say nope sorry, try again when your famous or something like that, which is unfortunate, but that's my guess.

That could be it, but all the music they post on the blog usually comes out that day or the day before, so I dunno what then.Well, I don't see anything wrong with it. Maybe they're bogged down with submissions, and haven't gotten to your's yet.

So I wrote a metal version to the crystal fair song that was released last week, I submitted it to equestria daily 3 days ago, but I haven't seen it on equestria daily as a post nor have I received an e-mail saying that I have been refused. So I then resent yesterday the email hoping to at least get a reply saying I'm not gonna be on, but again I have received no email back. Does he just not respond back to say if you've been refused?

I love everything from orchestral to electronic to acoustic to screamo, but I have a soft spot for pop punk though. Nothing makes me happier than sitting down and listening to some Mayday Parade or A Day to Remember.
