  1.

Question: What exactly is "Slant Rhyme"? I heard someone describe the lyrics of one of my tunes as having such (Gloomy Town, to be exact).

slant rhymes are two words that have similar sound to them but aren't exactly complete rhymes.  The words "soon" and "you" are slant rhymes.

  2. sounds neoclassical. also sounds entirely digital. did you use a program for all the instruments. cuz if your actually playing that. the tone is the most digital thing i ever heard.

haha good you noticed it! and yeah I wrote the whole thing in guitar pro, didn't play a single one of those instruments. I originally started recording the guitar and then realized how crappy my recording sounded, so I tabbed it out in guitar pro to get a sense of what it would sound like, and It sounded way better when I just exported the audio from guitar pro. However, for the next cover I do, I plan on actually recording the guitar and bass, and my drum set is an old simmons electronic drum set, which actually sound's worse than the guitarpro drums so I'll probably just stick with those drums.

  3. I don't know if I would call it metal, and I know were not talking about the genre it is, but I believe it would be more of a rock type genre, it's just not heavy enough in my opinion, but on to why your not getting on EqD, I to thought I could get one of my pony works on there, which was a song dj sessions, but never got it on there, I don't know, they only look at the famous people and if their not famous they say nope sorry, try again when your famous or something like that, which is unfortunate, but that's my guess.

Yeah you're probably right, and yeah I agree its more of a rock piece than a metal piece but I had already made the video when I had figured that out. EQD has all the power to make people more famous in the community, but I guess they like to stick to the people who are already noticed :(
  4. So I wrote a metal version to the crystal fair song that was released last week, I submitted it to equestria daily 3 days ago, but I haven't seen it on equestria daily as a post nor have I received an e-mail saying that I have been refused. So I then resent yesterday the email hoping to at least get a reply saying I'm not gonna be on, but again I have received no email back. Does he just not respond back to say if you've been refused?
