    I'm an emo kid

    Yep, it's true. I use to be emo.
    Angsty teenage syndrome.
    I hope when you look at this we can all laugh together. (:
    It's always amazing to see how much we change over the years.

    It's been six months since I last informed you guys about my sister, so I thought I'd blog about it. For you newer members, you can learn all about my sister here.
     
    My sister has recently been diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder and body dismorphia disorder.
    The BDD makes her think there is always something wrong about the way her hair is cut.
    The OCD makes her obsessively cut her hair.
    She is now bald.
    My husband and I have bought her a wig, so she wouldn't be bullied at school, but she cuts that now too.
    When she comes home from school she pulls her wig off an cries in front of the mirror about how 'ugly' she is.
    My sister has become extremely self conscious about her 'hair issue'. My husband once made a joke that she sheds worse than my cat and she threw a hair at him.
     
    My sister desperately seeks male approval (which no doubt it a result of our father abandoning us) and becomes very depressed if she doesn't have a boyfriend. She doesn't want a boyfriend because she thinks no one could ever love an 'ugly freak' like her. So since she 'can't' have a boyfriend she has meaningless sex with guys. Totaled up to over thirty now. It makes her feel happy for a moment, but later makes her feel used and suicidal.
     
    We are currently looking into rehabilitation centers for her since she is severely addicted to ecstasy.
    Her psychiatrist won't prescribe her medication until she can prove she's off all the drugs (since they could create a conflict and kill her if taken together). We are also looking into second jobs to be able to afford rehab for her as well.
     
    And lastly my sister has stopped attending highschool. Just this past week a mean girl pulled off her wig in the middle of class and everyone laughed at her. My sister left the school crying and refuses to come back.
     
     
     
     
    It hurts to think just 3-4 years ago we were playing hair and make-up dress up together.
