  1. they said less than 30 days. Since they'll be at NY Comic con, I suspect they'll release it there, and I agree with your November 17 guess.
  2. Thanks, guys! I still need to make finishing touches before I wear it, but I'm proud of myself.
  3. I'm not sure what material exactly it's made out of, but it's kinda s silky fabric, and the skirt puffs out with tulle. I still need to get a wig, yes, and the shoes - I'm gonna get some flats and spray-paint them gold and make the lacing with some gold fabric I have leftover. My next dress is gonna be a Pinkie Pie!
  4. This was actually pretty easy to make, just took yonks. I can't wait to wear it to Canterlot Gardens! /showing off
  5. She DOES look suspiciously like Cadance. Then again, this whole thing could be just a random toy, like the other so-soft one they have that's not a canon character and they could've just slapped "Princess" on it as marketing.
  6. It's entirely genetically possible that we haven't seen a male alicorn yet. Tortoiseshell cats are exclusively female and gingers are almost exclusively male. The same way colorblindness is MOSTLY in males. Some alleles just work that way.BUT I would love to see a male ali, too.
  7. If she is Cadance's daughter, this could mean one of two things. -Alicornism is a dominant trait -Alicornism is passed directly through royal blood, or alicorns breed alicorns no matter their mate.
  8. Oh, Faust had said that? I'd never heard it before. derp.
  9. On the back of the Royal Wedding DVD, they refer to Cadance as Princess Celestia's niece. Niece = sister's child So.... who was Luna getting busy with?! Prince Blueblood is also Celestia's nephew. Perhaps they're siblings, but Prince Blueblood isn't an alicorn, although this new "Princess Skyla" is and if she really is Cadance's child, this implies that alicornism is a female trait exclusively...
  10. Hi! I don't know if this kind of thing is allowed here, but I don't know where else to turn. I have bought a hotel room for Canterlot Gardens. It's all paid for and everything, but I'm 16, and minors can't have hotel rooms. What I need is someone over eighteen to have their name and information attached to the room - but rest assured, you won't be charged since it's already booked. I'd like to have a girl roomie, since being a 16 year old girl, I'd be uncomfortable rooming with guys - nothing personal! Another thing, unrelated. I've just had my artist's alley table declined. I'm flying to the event and was counting on making money in the artists alley to make up for the expenses. If anyone would be willing to share even a small portion of their table, I'd be more than willing to compensate them! I have no gender qualms about this. If anyone's interested, you can shoot me an email at catielovesyoucx@gmail.com and we can work out personal details later. =)
  11. I'm hoping to be a vendor at Canterlot gardens... so for the past couple weeks I've been whipping up tons of clay figures. Whaddaya think? =) I call my little 'business' DJ's P0n3s... cause one of my nicknames is DJ. xD Twilight is actually a molded-hair made from a Sweetie Belle
  12. Far too often, I see pieces of art made with ponies who are supposed to be in some epic action pose with hair that looks stiff, unmovable and unrealistic. So I whipped up a very quick, minimal guide with tips on incorporating hair into your drawings. Please ignore the RAMPANT TYPOS.
  13. Another great alcohol joke is in the Poison Joke episode when Spike refers to Applejack as 'Apple-teeny' (Appletini is an alcoholic drink)
