  1. Shrek 3 I didn't even make it 5 minutes in that film. Do they have a Shrek 4 now? I don't want know what they'd do with it. I did see Puss in Boots... ughuhhhh, it was the movie I wanted to see after Shrek 2 ( you can guess how young I am by that) but I absolutely hate how cliche it was.. maybe because I'm older now. Oh. And Ice Age 2. Fuck it. They're up to part 4 now, I know THAT. I don't want to know how fail that is.
  2. I got Lickety Jubilee for my first one. Sounds like they nicked the names off the 80's ponies. Though I'll be using that Mormon Name Gen they recommended though XD "Jubeltine ArdaVee" sounds pretty sweet for a human character of sorts.
  3. Have you come across any? Do you think its their fair right? I've heard a couple of horror stories on the MLPTP about fans losing the MLP spirit. One such story is finding a whole lot of Blind Bags ripped open and stolen from Walmart. What I was thinking was, well, if this so called brony/pegasister wanted a rare BB, they could probably just see into reading the identification codes And even then, how totally rude that now the little kids who ALSO love the show and its toys are totally going to miss out on collecting a rare pony just because they don't join an adult web community with its hacks! (They don't even sell BBs where Iive and I'm also sure for many others, so what about that? :/) More recently, there have been some awesome MLP posters given out, the deal was one poster per customer pony purchase. Apparently, some so called "brony" went and took a whole load of them. (Quote below from the MLPTP thread) Quote: What about the other fans? What about the KIDS who actually want one of these on their fricking bedroom wall? Now they have to BUY these flimsy piece of paper just so this brony can get hundreds of dollars of profit for something that was a reward for the buying fans????? And well, now these "Freebies" are selling for $10+ a pop. My personal opinion, (and you're free to say how you feel otherwise) is this is just indeed an extortion of excitable fans. No good spirit here whatsoever. MLP merch has officially become happy traffic to soulless money making....
  4. Awesome no-reference attempt! I say if you ever intend to draw more, do so, because you're getting the idea of it already! Maybe include the bottom of the feet next time, we'd like to see that
  5. I think nearly anyone who says they've been "changed" by MLP is just out there seeking attention and 5 minutes of feeling special. I don't think my attitude has changed at all. You know, I hardly even watched the show. The cartoon is just childish, but here I am admiring the art style, the community vibe, and some of the characters so.... muh. I'm probably one of the least affected you'll ever know lol.
  6. Amigurumi (the proper name for these stuffed crochet creations) is so easy, someone who has little experience can learn it in a sinch! How do I know? Well the only things I've ever crochet before in my life was a Scarf and a Beanie which is as easy as you can get. If you haven't done any crochet before, get into the vibe of a couple of simple crochet projects and then you can tackle amigurumi.Really, the stuffed toys make it look harder than it really is! Thanks! She's my fave as well! I think perhaps because she has more colours to work with, and I think that ribbon looks rather fetching on her (she only had that temporarily so I could keep her long hair tidy will I finished up the last of the hair, but my friend wanted to keep it aftewards P:) And overall, thanks everyone!
  7. The whole of Discovery Channel now, and unfortunately even Mythbusters is now a tactless sellout.. Mythbusters used to have a lot more body to it, now it's like 80% of the episode must include explosions, for some of the most lame myths.. which I swear some where just made up by the directing crew so they could use a bit more C4. The hosts never used to act - Adam Savage is now like a engineering version of Pinkie Pie with this supposed "undying enthusiasm for explosives" when in reality he's actually a really intelligent and broadly interested guy. And I'm guessing, sick of explosions. Would anyone even recall the less than a minute science methods? heck I bet some people wouldn't even recall what the myth was in the first place, because look, we just blew up a gas barbeque! I loved you Mythbusters... you inspired some people though, and I am happy. It's not about the science & cultural history anymore, it's about entertaining the simple minded with KA-BOOM!!! . When all the "fans" should do is just watch an action movie?!
  8. The puffy stickers from the MLP:FIM gummy lollies. So far only got Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy since they're mostly lolly stuff for kids and I'm not into the preservatives lol. Apparently they only sell in Australia... The MLP:FIM snack cookies are way better though Oh I may as well add, I also have these birthday cards and wrapping paper that I've never seen posted on the internet, did a good thorough search. They're really pretty, I should take a photo - maybe you guys might of seen them?
  9. Here. Let it make it easier on the mind, I know I like diagrams. *crap Now I've got to go to my uni lecture.
  10. Great, now you're twisting my words - are you end of the rope or what?Their focus is anthromorpic creatures. They're not making them there just to gawk at, they make stories and personalities out of them. That's really a very dirty view of the furry community. That unlike bronies stuff, none of their anthro characters have any personality and stories. I'm sorry but are you completely blind to the existance of fanfics, comics, and series?
  11. ... And furries enjoy to look at/watch anthromorphic animals as well. They also find the characters relatable to them, nearly nobody would enjoy reading or watching something because they can't relate to it. Who normally does that? You think furries don't relate to anything of their characters? What, so furries just made their characters with human characteristics just to gawk at from a distance? That's an empty, soulless perception of people who have an interest.
  12. How was that a stereotype? A stereotype is a presumed conception of a whole. This was categorising. And I don't understand yours? Furries love the creatures they love because they think they are wonderful too. Bronies = The fanbase. The fanbase, plus their creations. Furries = The fanbase and creations, plus some of the fanbase for comics, literatures, shows etc. Their ratios are just swapped.
  13. Well the current recipe I'm trying to work on is very basic, yet I'm still failing! I'm thinking I might get a steamer, because my point of failure is essentially, how quickly the wonton falls apart in the water. http://chinesefood.about.com/od/potstickers/r/potstickers.htm I've tried them pan fried like in the example, but I really prefer the way I had them years ago from the mother of a Chinese friend I had! They pan fried ones have a nice crunch, but i think the fried casing takes too much of the focus of the flavour from the actually ingredients inside. Lucky!! Best thing ever to get free vegetables and fruit! I have a neighbour who gets bounties of pumpkins, hence I discovered my love for pumpkin soup.
  14. So as you say they are equal as in.. what? Could you elaborate what you meant by that for me? Hmm... levels of hate. Hard to compare unless we got down to punching some statistics since we can't really compare them considering the age of these communities. Someone produce me a z-score! Anyway. So someone decided to sit around one day and make a song for them.. a fandom that's been around for years and years. There's hundreds of videos against bronies.. as well as furries. Not sure if I can estimate really though, but I'd like to know about this too! Maybe because the Brony fandom came out so macho and coooool, nobody bothered to make it, wheras the furry fandom gets kicked about as being "full of super weird people". People who are considered "different" and/or "an easy target" are always gonna get picked on and bullied. Bronies are just too macho lol How many times does this have to be said? Many furries don't care for the sexualisation, just love the idea of animals with human personality. Some like the idea of anthromorphic creatures having sex. Just like some Bronies like their anthromorphic ponies have sex. The word here is "some". You're basically pulling the same opinion that the "General Internet Public" has on Bronies to the Furries as well. Fair isn't it? Because that's what haters/stigmatisers of Bronies are - people who think Bronies are obsessed with sexualising on fictional anthromorphic horses. I'm sure you guys can't stand being called out for that just because of a (well surprisingly not small) amount of bronies who are into that stuff when you do the big assumptions just the same to the furries. I don't know how I can explain that any more simpler than that? Some bronies keep it platonic. Some just love to get off to it. Some furries like to keep it platonic. Some just love to get off to it. If you don't mind the "Internet Public's" demonising opinion on you, I am sure now, you know how the furries are feeling right now. Bronies don't even need boobs or fingers to make their fandom look obsessively sexualised. It just happens. A lot. I follow 7 MLP:FIM groups and it's not all platonic I'll tell ya that. Not all stockings pony buttocks might I add, if you're drawing your OC ponies making out, then it's no different.. it's anthromorphic animal love.
  15. 1. GRIM ADVENTURES OF BILLY AND MANDY 2. SpongeBob - the early seasons. 3. Pingu (if it counts..) 4. Invader Zim 5. And argh I can't remember it but it was on the ABC Kids channel (the australian one... had heaps of awesome shows.)
  16. I've always wanted the excuse to have the username "420leaves". And have an icon. With 420 leaves on it. I don't play games though go free.
  17. And tell me how the furry community are less of a community than MLP? If not less worthy of being human beings, since I'm not 100% sure on what you implied there. They just have different interest than you and wow.. that sounded like a very jerkish comment right then and there. No. They are not into hybrids. That is an entire sub-genre of theirs all together. Let me copy and paste for you. The furry fandom is a subculture interested in fictional anthromorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics. Thanks wiki. And so each and every identifiable furry must love all animals? No. Absolutely not. Many people in the community only hold interest in just one species. We got furries who only like wolves, we have furries who only like cats, we have furries who only like horses. All fictional all anthromorphic, all characters with human personalities and characteristics. The TV show element means nothing. Furries derive from all sorts of medias, comics, novels, cartoons, they love to make art and cosplay them. Believe it or not, Bronies who identify as interested in the ponies of MLP, are all sub catergory to a overly taunted subculture community called Furries. It hurts to feel like a sub culture of of an already stigmatised sub culture. And I think now, wrongly stigmatised. If you believe that bronies shouldn't be stigmatised as "horse-porn clopping scum", then neither should the furry community be any more considered as "animal fucking scum". You don't need to be scared of them. Everyone here shouldn't be scared of them. They're people with an interest. So what if you don't care about pandas and foxes and wolves, I'm sure they don't care about your ponies either. Except the pony fans. Of course.
  18. Here's something REALLY unpopular I just gotta get out of myself. The 1980s, Generation 1 My Little Ponies have the most most warm, affectionate and cutest design ever. In so, 4 of my 9 Hasbro MLPs are G1.
  19. I'd like to know the answer to all this too. Because from the descriptions, it sounded like I already had one. Of a sentient being as described. However from what I was told and learned, it was my animus. Or perhaps my shadow type, as he has the exact reverse of functions (in the measure of the MBTI) that I have. Tulpas sound something different, but maybe actually exactly the same as that of Jungian theory. All human beings have a shadow personality. It's been recommended in Jungian theory upon part of the process to Individuation that we talk to our shadow type. Which is what I'm assuming these tulpas actually turn out to be.. only assuming the connection here though. But the awareness of the secondary entity, the shadow, is considered a good thing..
  20. Holy shizz it did... like a little system reboot. Tnanks for that! All is back to normal for the MLP Forums..
  21. Well that was a very speedy reply there. Thanks anyway though. Just one of those moments I suppose lol.
  22. How do we access the theme changer when the Settings are covered up?...NEVER MIND THAT, I worked it out. Bottom of the page, in case anyone is a bird brain like me. Anyway, glad it wasn't just me! I'm using Chrome.
  23. Increased: Trixie. Seemed annoying but I learned that her character had some great potential. Celestia. She seemed boring and a tasteless character ..until seeing her in a new light. Again, part of my own personal developments. I can totally dig the trickster addition to her personality..... Decreased... Pinkie Pie. Too much effort of the producers to make her personality stand out so much. Got annoying. Lyra. I feel the magic is lost since she got a voice.
  24. Assignment Due < George Carlin DVD

  25. Fluttershy's and Celestias. I love the upturned shape of Fluttershy's, not much to say there. And I like the look the bottom lid on Celestia's eyes, gives her some sort of eery feelz to her...
