    The thing is, the dev team often dont have a say! Cadence was forced apon the staff by hasbro becuase they wanted to sell a pink princess toy but luckely the team fitted her in well, IF she were to become an alicorn it would be hasbros descion

    I agree, though there is so evidence supporting it, firstly multiple sightings of official merchandise with twilight as an alicorn, mistake? maybe, but the fact that it happened multiple times in different images makes that less likely. Also it is almoast certain twilight will become a princess (Will a very small chance its cadence), even if only temporarily. This is shown in the latest add, featured around twilight "Discovering her destiny" then finishing with said coronation title, the fact that there is not even a mention of cadence makes it seem very likely it will be twilight (Again not 100%). This whole princess deal is relevant because every princess up untill now has been an alicorn, and up until "the Magic Duel" hasbro even officially named alicorns "Princess Ponies" making it all seem more likely

    Hi there! I'm Austin and... well im not really a musicial at all! Well I have dabbled in all sorts since joing the fandom at the end of S2. Though the one thing I am is a Vector artist, some of my work has been on this very site (At the time of posting the rainbow dash in the header image is by me http://austiniousi.deviantart.com) so deviantart is my domain of sorts. Though I love all things tech and I have done a bit of web design so I guess I am the "User" POV instead of the Music creator which I hope will still be helpfull xD I was born/I live in New Zealand and hope to pursue a career in Computer science and its great to be here!

    Forgive me if I havent seen it or it has allready been discussed, but I think a great thing to have would be a shuffle option, that basically plays a random song/playlist of random songs (Maybe with the option to shuffle a specific genre?) because a big part of the site that I as a user would take advantage of is discovering new stuff and a sort of randomiser achives that well. Im not an expaert on that sort of thing xD Also one very minor thing, again if this is intentional or what not forget it, but in the music playing screen I personally dont like that the music "Bar" (Showing the progresss of the song) is touching the albulm artwork and description. To me the progress bar is one of the most integral parts and i just think maybe it should stand out a bit more/more isolated *shrug*

    Ok guys from the little I know, im the guy "The-master" spoke of, it is super likely and (to be honest) fairly obvious about a canning/reduction of derpy, the Twilight part though is totally unconfirmed, no one I know has any idea about it. ITs not impossible but also very very unlikly Im "that friend" unfortunatly alot of derpy info is now outdated, and what hasbro wants and what the team wants are two VERY different things, alot I cannot disclose unfortunatly but trust in the fact that those loyal to the show are doing what they can, though yep say bye bye to derpy now :/ Looks like the derpy part is very well true, though none of my sources have hard anything about the alicorn part so I doubt it very much

    That's one of my personal favourites, the ending is great. If you want to read a big epic fanfic ever I HIGHLY recommend "It's a dangerous business going out that door" it takes epically awesome to a whole new level

    Why not? Photoshop is fantastic for vectors, and in my opinion better then illustrator. Photoshops pen tool is really intuitive and very easy once you get used to it, and that doesn't take long

    Heres a great example of a front on pony (Not by me): http://imgur.com/OONxy.jpg And my advice for drawing them in three quarter view- make the legs closer together then you think, its a common mistake to make the body really long

    I do allot of vectoring in photoshop and it is actually not that hard. (http://austiniousi.deviantart.com), and my number 1 tip it CONTROL KEY (or command on mac) CONTROL KEY CONTROL KEY CONTROL KEY. When moving anchor points... HOLD CONTROL KEY. when moving control points HOLD CONTROL KEY. Control key = Smooth Its really a process of going to the pen tool, clicking where you want to start, clicking where you want to end and then adding as many midway points as needed, twist and adjust as needed with the control key held down, then go back round a bit in (for thickness of stroke), close path and make whatever color you want, then just go make a shape that vaguely fits under the stroke for the fill, the rest is history
