  1. Why did we all become bronies/pegasisters? I believe the proper question is: why not? I don't believe there was any particular reason why I decided to watch. I just tried it one day and was like: "Man, this is good." And the rest went on from there. I can't say why I became one, but I can tell you about 100 reason why I'm glad to be one.

  2. I'm actually a fairly good runner. Though, I do it as a school sport, rather than just for fun or to get in shape. I run just about every day of the week with the exception of Saturdays and Sundays. Also, the training I've done has done wonders for me. My record time for the 400 meter dash (I'm a sprinter, by the way) is about 55 seconds. That's about 11 seconds away from Olympic time (not too shabby, in my opinion).

*shrugs* Sure, why not. Braeburn seems like a likely choice. I've been know to try new things often. But one thing first, I don't sell out cheaply. I expect a nice dinner and at least a necklace before things start going anywhere.  :3

  4. laugh.png  YES! I never thought I'd see a star wars thread around here. Let me start off by saying that I've been a huge star wars for since I was very young. I've watched every episode at least 10 times over each and loved every second of each. Also, for Halloween, I've once dressed up as either darth maul or darth vader for 4 or 5 years in a row (obviously when I was 4. I'm a bit too old to dress up in a star wars costume regardless of how much I actually want to :3). I can personally say that star wars has always been a big thing to me and probably will continue to be in the future.

Personally, I favored the original episodes over the newer ones, but regardless, they were all really good. I also didn't really like the TV series as much as the movies, but there wasn't much else "new" with star wars, so it was okay at the time.

Nice pics btw, celestia's double caber FTW!

  5. Most attractive pony?!?! You guys must be so crazed and confused. hahaha!!!

AppleJack is indefinitely the most attractive pony, and don't any of you deviants say otherwise. You all know who the most attractive pony is and that there is no way to disagree with my argument. Also, considering that I've lived on a farm in the iowa area for most of my life, AJ is like home to me. The accent, the hard work, the rough (I'm not trying to be sexual) and toughness. It's all just things that I was at one point so used to. Every time I see a pic of AJ it just constantly reminds me of ... home ...

  6. Well I'd like to thing of it like this. If we all started out as ponies since the primordial era (or something close to that time period) we would most likely turn out just fine. We would gradually go through history, gaining knowledge, discovering new things, and I suppose we would all eventually come to the "present day" ponyville. I suppose in that case we would turn out like we did in the real world, discover the world around us and come to me a "modern" civilization for the time period. Also considering that everyone would be a different special type of pony, we would be much better off in things such as transportation (there would be nearly no uses for planes), construction (considering that unicorns can create anything they please using magic) and labor (considering that earth ponies are such hard workers).

But in the case that we all woke up one day to discover that we all had been permanently turned into ponies by some unknown force, then we would basically be screwed. None of the current day "human fit" technology we have today, would even be usable for us. I suppose that if some of us turned into unicorns/alicorns, we might have some slight chance of survival considering they can magically just transform anything into an image of they're liking. Then all of the current objects we have today, could be fit for ponies if our unicorn/alicorn brothers and sister changed them to be fit for ponies. And in another case, if we all turned out to be earth ponies, we would indefinitely be turned to ruin. Being that we are all earth ponies and can't just magically change things to our liking, we would have to redesign and rebuild every single object we have to this day to make them fit for ponies. But I'm sure by the time we came up with an idea, all sources of food would be exhausted, all power wouldn't be running, there would me no means of communication other than vocal (being that we all still speak our current languages), and we wouldn't have the tools to fix these problems due to the fact that we can operate any human designed object using only our hoofs.

But if I had to choose between human or pony, I would most definitely choose pony.

Now, onto the topic of choices. To be honest, if I had to pick any type of pony it would most definitely be Alicorn (woop woop, alicorns FTW)

    liarjack.jpg

Haha, no I'm just kidding. If I really had to choose any type, it would definitely be earth pony. I know most people would say "hey navy, why would you pick a freaking earth pony? Don't they have like absofreakinglutely no powers what so ever?". Now I know that it may be odd in some sense to want no power what so ever. But the truth is that it's not really a matter of which pony has the coolest power (because if it were, I would choose to be a pegasus), it's more of a matter of how well the species represents me. I'm nothing too special. I'm a hard worker, and I'm always out to help others. I can cook, grow food, and believe it or not, I lived on a farm in my early childhood (XD eeyup). Also, I think my deep devotion to AJ might have a slight influence to it too (see pic above).

(Way to write another page long essay there Navy)
  7. Currently I am a very happy person indeed, I'm actually one of the happiest people I know. I'm so happy and laid back to the point to where almost nothing can upset me anymore. I think because of my greater happiness I've been more outgoing, been more open minded, meet new people, getting along with people better, having a new outlook on life, being motivated to help other to make them just as happy as I am, and mush more (I could write an entire essay on how happy I've been lately). Due to the fact that I've been happier I've been meeting many new good people. And through my great self bound motivation to help other, I've made them happier, which initially made me happier, which initially turned into a never ending cycle of happiness.

I think a large portion of that happiness stemmed off off of MLP (how cliche). I know it mind sound silly no matter how many times you hear it, but it's all too true. Both myself and a very good friend of mine have both found great comfort from this silly show intended for the younger female audience, and to be honest, it's made great improvement on us greatly.

(This would be a sad story if you knew the full details of it, but I'm not going to go into detail)

Alright, so as stated before, both myself and a very good friend of mine (this guy is currently my best friend) found great comfort from MLP. Now we didn't need comforting for no reason, we were both suffering from our great endeavors and suffering badly. We both had been dealing with early life problems (but his was much worse than mine). My early life was more terrible academics, constant scolding, constant beatings, having no friends (epic forever aloness still exists to this day, but I really don't mind it any more), lack of caring, slight neglect, and failing to get a grasp on life. Now, my buddy had it much much worse than I (take everything that I listed and multiply it by 10, that's how much worse). He had to suffer with many great early childhood problems. He had to live with great matters family problems and things of that sort. He's actually had very very very bad (you'd think I'm exaggerating  but I'm not) things happen to him that even effect him to this very day. Eventually he found MLP, and he told me that it actually SAVED (yea, it was that bad) him. He even told me that he went up to Lauren Faust and thanked her personally. Even with the comfort of MLP at his side, the scars of his early life still hadn't healed. Eventually we came to know each other by meeting through the connection of a brony gaming community (The Brony Guards). Eventually we got to know each other much better, and we came to be the greatest of friends anyone could ever hope to be. He told me of his great endeavors and how they still affected him to this day, and I sought out to help him because of how open he was to me about his life. One day he even told me how I have helped him in his life. We talk to each other nearly every day .... and I couldn't be any happier in doing so.

(I think these lyrics he very well describe my feeling after I started watching MLP)

    Sit back and smile,

    Not worth the fight.

So just remember that it's all alright.

    Though it seems dark

    On this cold, black night,

The sun has set, let's bring it back to life.

I'm gonna put my hooves up high,

Don't worry about tomorrow, 'cause I'm here tonight.

I'll grab the world before it passes by,

Don't worry about tomorrow, 'cause I'm here tonight.

  8. I went to school with a Blake in elementary/middle school. It was a K - 8 school. She was a grade ahead of me, though. ( think so.) I'd say your name isn't common or not-common. :)

eh, it's really  uncommon around my area. The only names you see around here is either mike or john (then it's usually followed by some ridiculously Italian last name. Not trying to prove stereotypes here, but it's kinda true.)

  9. well, considering that I have yet to meet someone with the same name as me (name being Blake), I can't love my name anymore than I do right now. Having the most original name around has it's perks, like how people don't have to give me nicknames so they don't confuse me with someone else (even though everyone already calls me "navy"). Also, my name is just so unique compared to everyone else that lives near me, every one in the strange land on NJ usually will have the name mike or something unoriginal like that. Lastly, I like to think my name almost sounds superior in some sense (to the point to where it's almost condescending).

But all in all, I just love my name.

  10. Well let's see, my old gameboy advanced SP still works (I still play it to this day actually). I also still have my old playstation and playstation 2 working (although they've been in my closet collecting dust for the past 10 years). Oh yea one last thing, my parents are still working, man those things are freaking primordial, I'm surprised they still work even to this day.

  11. It's not really that I dislike each of those words, I really just have more of a problem with the groups/people that use the word and the reason they use it. To be honest I think swagger (swag as they call it these days) is actually not a half bad word, I think it offers a fairly good description as to someone who has great confidence. Now the problem that I have with swag is the over use of it and how it is used in a way to say that someone is cooler/better than any other person.

Now YOLO isn't really half bad either. I think it offers a pretty good life lesson, which is to live your life to the fullest. But unfortunately I have found that people just use the word as an excuse to throw parties (I'm glad pinkie doesn't say YOLO in that case) and have an excuse to do what ever they want.

To be honest, if people didn't use those words the way they do today, I wouldn't have such a problem with them.

  12. Well, I was a little hesitant to fully becoming a brony at first because i thought "This is a show for little girls, and I'm a grown as man. why do I enjoy this show so much then?". Eventually I stopped trying to hide my love for the show, by then I really didn't care what anyone had to say or think about what I watched.

  13. Alright everyone, the Brony Guards are expanding greatly, we are creating gaming division in Minecraft, tf2, and command and conquest: Timberium alliances.

Steam group: Brony Guards (I think that's pretty obvious)

Command and Conquer: We are located on server 52 on the west wing of the world. (So far we only have 3 members in the alliance so far, and we're trying to get some numbers in our little gaming community for this game)

We are constantly active, and have have platoon meet ups on every Saturday on BF3 (our main game). Also, we are always looking for new members to join us in our expanding community. Also, we are looking for some games to set our group up in, so we do appreciate any ideas.

There are no requirements for gaining entry to the clan other than a love of ponies. I am also willing to answer any questions if there are any. Hope to see you all online soon!!!

  14. Super-size anything, eh?

hmmm, I'd have to say I would super-size my gaming skills and abilities. I'm already a crazy good gamer, but having that amount of skill.... I would be unstoppable!!!! *evil laugh*

I mean really, I can already pull off crazy cross map head shots, get at least 2.0 KD's per a match, and get MVP when I'm just playing around or using only a pistol. But super-size that skill ...... I would be unstoppable (as stated before)!!!
