The New Elements RP Thread Many years have passed from the time when the last of the Elements of Harmony have died out, Princess Twilight committing suicide after all of her friends had passed. Now under the threat of a takeover by the alicorn known as Lilith, the Elements of Harmony have been reforged into all new elements, ones that need new bearers to stop this threat. You have been called to the palace to receive these new elements, for Celestia has been watching your movements from her planar realm. You are the new heroes of Equestria. Rules! - No god modding. Seriously, don't do it. - No "controlled substances" - No Mary Sues. I shouldn't have to tell ya'll this. - No clop. You can have a time skip or something, and imply what their doing. - No "sexual relations" without the owner of that OCs consent. - DO NOT control other people's OCs without their permission. - Because we're all on the same side, don't kill one another. - No overly powerful magic. There is no element of magic so that con't be your excuse. - For the love of Celestia, no plot twists without the DM's (my) or the co-DM's (Alex Kennedy) permission - Generally all races are accepted. - I reserve the right to reject characters. - Use proper spelling and such. Slight errors are allowed in grammar. - Be reliable. I get it, life. I know you may not be able to tell me every time, but explain your absence and where your character has been. - I have the right to add more rules. @@Alex Kennedy, Minath smiled up at him, and kept her thoughts silent. Such naivety. If I didn't have this part of Celestia that knew no matter what he tries, he will fail, I would believe him. But right now, I need him as much as he needs me. "I'm glad to hear that." ~~~ Lumi knew there was something different. She went to Tempest's room and saw the letter sprawled out on the desk. @, "Opal! You need to see this!" ~~~ DH wandered the castle, Guayota following behind. she knew she was taking a huge risk by being here, and saw Daeva conversing with Chivalry. DH watched in silence.

@, Daeva titled her head, thinking. Clever one, you are. "Yes, I suppose that to be true. But us gods are not above selfishness, same as you mortal ponies. ~~~ @@Alex Kennedy, ((Dangit I forgot.)) Minath smiled sadly. "Even if you survive 200 years, that will be like the blink of an eye to me. Looking back on Celestia's memories I can see everything, she lived for nearly 30000 years. And was still young. But I appreciate your meaning."

@, ((That was the point, silly)) "Chivalry, dear Chivalry. While your 'Celestia' and 'Luna' are like gods to you, I am immortal, and untouchable by your weaponry. I support Caras because I am a god of healing and heroes. Before your quest and Caras' release I had no purpose. But if Caras is restored I have a purpose, to heal. And heroes will rise up, and I will help them. They will all fail, but I will help them, none the less. I have helped many heroes in the past, when last Caras was released. I helped the one you call Equinox, Celestia's predecessor. He had made the sacrifice to call upon me, and I helped him imprison. In fact, There is a part of my aura inside Luna, and formerly in Celestia. However my aura is transferred through birth, not death."

@, Deava shook her head, and restored Chivalry's energy. Soon your soul will be mine. She thought to herself "I am god, yes. But I have not come to you to help with your quest against Caras. I, in fact, support Caras. But it is your soul that I have come to support." ~~~ Minath smiled up at him. "You know that is a promise you can't keep. Eventually you will fade and I will be left alone again."

@, ((I meant to reply to your post... and then I forgot. Sorry!)) Deava felt Chivalry calling to her, and she materialized in front of him "You called, Hero?" ~~~ @@Alex Kennedy, Minath spoke. "I love you more. I never realized how much I relied on you, how much I needed you in my life until you were gone. The indent in my bed was always cold, and if I tried hard enough I could almost see how you fit into it, and I would wake up to your emerald eyes but then I would realize it's all just a dream and you were never beside me."

@@Alex Kennedy, Minath felt Rambler's love and it soothed her. For seven years she had lived without love.... Sure Celestia loved her in the distant, maternal way and her friends loved her in the way friends do, but she had relied so much on Rambler that she felt like there was a whole missing in her heart. She fitted herself closer to Rambler, until she could feel his heartbeat through her own chest.

I recently had lost contact with my best friend, do you think that has to do with my dream?

@@Alex Kennedy, Minath's wings wrapped around Rambler tighter, her hooves getting intertwined in his mane. She pulled back and kissed him very roughly, emotions washing over her. Thinking back to the dark times had finally broke her dam. ((I kinda feel bad about it, though. Everyone's just reading us.))

@@Alex Kennedy, Minath hugged Rambler back, and sent out her memories of the emptiness, and how she had cut to feel again. She was silent, afraid that if she was to talk her dam would break and everything would pour out. Rambler knowing the emptiness she had felt must be some kind of explanation, right? ((The last, like, page and a half has been us talking with intermissions by other people... ))

@@Alex Kennedy, Minath knew that she was already pulling the wool over his eyes for most things, and if he found out by himself he would be more upset with her than if she just up and told him. Instead of words, she just took off her hoofguards and held the back of her wrists. She closed her eyes so she wouldn't have to see the looks that were certainly flowing over Rambler's face.

Most of the time I have no control, and in fact I'm not even in my own body most of the time. It's like I'm watching a movie unfold, but this time I was in my own body and could control my actions.

@@Alex Kennedy, She kept her thoughts silent. Minath's skill in reading ponies had improved. She knew what they were thinking through body motions and such, and Rambler was a open book to her. She only wondered how long it will take him to realize the habit she had once again picked up in the void of unfeeling that had become her mind while he was away. The scars were mostly hidden behind her hoofguards, but some of them peaked through. ((Wink wink hint hint))

@@Alex Kennedy, Minath leaned into Rambler, glad to have him back after all that time. Anytime you need to scry, I will help. All I need is a reflective surface. Minath felt bad for the wool she was trying to pull over Rambler's eyes, but it was for the best. If he had known how she yearned and hurt while he was away he would never forgive himself.

@@Alex Kennedy, Minath didn't want to ruin the family moment, so she stayed silent. I know you did. Minath shielded her thoughts for a moments and wondered what it would be like to have a family that would miss her if she got lost. She was positive Note and Lightning would miss her like a family might, and Rambler would miss her like the special somepony he is, but she didn't have blood ties to any of these ponies. While these thoughts were raging inside her she maintained a relatively stoic expression. She mastered hiding her emotions in the time that Rambler was away, not letting her demeanor slip. To that would cost her the distractions she had fixed for herself, normally working 18 hour shifts and playing her violin, because she couldn't sleep without Rambler there. Note had even written multiple ballads to ease her pain. Minath looked upon the scene in front of her with a feint smile on her face. She was glad that Rambler had that.

Yeah. Strange.

Okay, my mom said she didn't want to hear my dream, but I want to tell someone. So all ya'lls are gonna have to do. I was at a store, in the parking lot. I was looking for my mom, but she was nowhere to be seen. I was yelling out for her, and someone, a man in a ski mask, grabbed my elbow. It was suddenly day and there was people everywhere, and I yelled for help but no one came to my rescue. I felt my stomach sink as I was dragged away and the image of all the people got farther and farther away, and the man in the mask was still dragging me, tears in my eyes as nobody helped me. I yelled help so loudly it woke me up, with tears in my eyes. That was my nightmare. Being the big child I am, I crawled into bed with my parents so they could protect me from the end of the nightmare. I'm wondering if someone could help me interpret this dream. I also just wanted to get this strange dream off my chest, metaphorically.

@@Alex Kennedy, Minath sighed. Come out here Rambler. They miss you. Can't you hear it in Emerald's tone? "I just like to see you guys. You all are spitting images of Ra... him." Minath said, knowing that Emerald and Flint would be more volatile at hearing their lost brother's name.

@@Alex Kennedy, Minath smiled. "It's always good to see you Pops. How's Flint? And Emerald? I know seeing me brings back memories of Rambler that might upset them." Minath said, and looked to Rambler. When they come out, come talk to them. They love you and miss you. After all, they love you almost as much as I do.

@@Alex Kennedy, Minath nodded and approached the mirror. After a moment, the reflection swirled and in Rambler's home in Stallionshire appeared, showing the image out of the mirror in Rambler's living room, but the stallions of the house were nowhere to be seen. "Flint! Emerald! Pops! Are you guys in? I want to talk to you guys about something."

@@Alex Kennedy, Minath wiped away Rambler's tears. Don't cry. I've forgiven you. You tried hard to get back to me, and that's all I can ask. Agápi̱ mou gia séna eínai ápeiri̱. My love for you is infinite. Now let me take you to that scrying mirror. Minath sent, then led Rambler away by the hoof to the scrying Mirror and charged it up. "Now all you need to do is say who you wish to contact. The mirror will do the rest."

@@Alex Kennedy, ((Minath visited them while looking for Rambler.)) Don't you know? I searched all over for you, including talking to your family. I went to all the places you had told me you went to. It took me beyond Equestria, beyond even the realm that we know. But that's a story for a different time. Although It's been about two years from the last time I spoke to them. I need to tell them that I found you... finally.

@@Alex Kennedy, Minath leaned her head on Rambler, and sent him a message. There's a scrying mirror if you want to talk to your family. It requires magic so I can set it up for you, if you want. Flint, Emerald and Pops outta be happy to see you. ~~~ "Hopefully none of us will." Lumi said, then bowed her head and departed, going to the armory and putting on her purple armor. She stayed there, meditating.

@@Alex Kennedy, ((you know what, that makes sense. I'll do that in a later post. Or Tempest will recognize her.)) Minath smiled back at Rambler. It's like he never left. She thought to herself, taking care not to send that to Rambler. ~~~ "Minath hasn't been known to exaggerate, but we'll see, I guess."

@@Alex Kennedy, Minath nodded almost undetectably. If everything goes as plan, you won't have to. I'm going to cleanse Luna of her corruption over time. The process has already begun. Caras won't know what hit him. And it was true. Minath had started pouring cleansing magic into Luna, so little as to not alert her or Caras. In 24 hours she would be free of Caras' corruption. Caras might notice his hold on her slipping, but by then Luna would've realized she was being controlled and booted the remnants of Caras out of her mind. ~~~ Lumi nodded. "Judging by what Minath has told me, you will." ~~~ DH was in Canterlot, Guayota disguised as a regular dog. She wondered up to the palace and quickly gained entrance. Caras might not be happy about her being here, but she wasn't serving him. They were just allies. She disguised herself with the help of Abezethibou, looking like a female Canterlot Guard. She stepped into the room where the defenders and Luna were talking, listening to their conversations. Each element seemed to be going to a different pony, and if they all received one each, and deserved that one, Caras' hold on them might be broken. DH stayed and listened to their conversations. ((And remember that DH is going to die, in case she gets found out feel free to battle and kill her.))
