Thing is with Eternal Reward, once you score a backstab, you're swimming along. In my opinion, the best loadouts for spy is Eternal Reward with stock watch, or stock knife with Dead Ringer. I don't use the latter as I'm not a fan at all of Dead Ringer, and the former is challenging, which I like. What you need to do is single out the ones who are alone and oblivious to almost everything that's around them. At times, I can decloak right behind an enemy and score a backstab because they're so deaf, lol. Sometimes I can't help but feel as though the battlefield is my playground at times. You have to be planning ahead. You need to think of when to retreat and how much damage you might receive until you are safe. You get used to it over time, but just enjoy the game for what it is. I never played the game to get better at it. I played the game because it's so fun. -

Just saying: you were on top of the scoreboard. I am nowhere near the best either, and when I encounter someone much better than myself, it's quite disconcerting but it at least drives me to try to get better. -

Cancer simply means the effects that no one really wants - like nuts and bolts, or massed flies. No one really wants them, but gets them anyway just to show off that they have an unusual. I actually liked how keys were used as currency, as it used to be another step up from refined metals. It's simply used to compact a number of refined to save space in your backpack. I think that's ultimately why it's used. Also, keys are a way to get instant refined to trade away for various other things. However, now the corrupt greedy sons of b****es decided to make them hilariously expensive. Oh, and something amusing: if you ever want a botkiller, don't get tickets and waste your time trying to get the botkiller yourself. Just be lazy and buy the botkiller from someone, because botkillers are incredibly cheap compared to buying 3-6 tickets for one tour. That's something that depresses me. After investing in tickets and taking time to slave away for a botkiller, what you get isn't worth the effort at all and you lose a ridiculous amount. It shouldn't be that way, but depressingly it is. -

It's not exactly something you should be concerned about, but I understand. Feeling poor and Irish feels bad, but when you have plenty of hats and miscs, you'll feel tons better than owning one simple expensive item. The most basic way to earn is by scrap banking. Selling a specific unique weapon for a scrap metal. That's as far as I'd personally go with trading. I haven't gone through with this though because in my opinion, 1-1 trades are best trades. I don't care for value. Also, a best bet is to just allow the items you do have display your skill level and keep on playing. When you have one refined, you can pretty much trade that off for a hat or misc. Imho, the expensive items are way too overrated. Buds is the only decent one because it simply states you love music, in a way. Then again... ~30 keys (is it?) is way too expensive. Just take pride in the items you earn, even if they're not all that expensive, is the way to go. Unusual hats... it's pretty tricky, tbh, to understand what one hat is worth when it has the status of being unusual. I managed to get my own unusual after uncrating about 25 crates (not counting the ~10 crates I opened before I had a mass uncrating of 40 crates). I think generally, unusuals are more expensive than buds. I'd say the very politely named 'cancer unusuals' are somewhere like a buds, then as you get better effects and a better hat, the price increases rather drastically, but I'm not sure in what way it actually increases. I've never cared about unusuals, so I don't really have an understanding of the pricing for unusuals. You could basically sell one unusual for $50 if it's a 'cancer', and easily go above $100 - if someone is actually willing to put real money into it - for a decent unusual. In a way, you could go for a gamble and buy keys from tf2shop.net, buy crates if you need more from the Steam Community Market, and attempt to find an unusual, which I would severely disapprove of. If you get lucky, you could sell the hat for credit on your Steam account, so you're basically getting free money at this point, then but more keys and crates and stumble upon another unusual and still have money left over. Or you could be unlucky and get nothing out of it: money wasted. -

Even though I've been playing Scout a whole lot, I also miss easy shots, lol. Try to pick out your enemies carefully. Go for the ones who are out of position, where their teammates will struggle to help that guy out. Focus on slow moving targets as well as you're starting out. In time you will get used to mostly keeping the crosshair on your enemy as you move about, but it does take a ridiculous amount of time to be that good. Also, yes, boosting the sensitivity is a good thing. I usually think that if you can swing 360° with one swipe of a hand, you have a good sensitivity level, but it's something that's specific to each and every person. You have to find what suits you and you alone. Sniper is a good class to try to sort out sensitivity levels. If you struggle to score headshots, adjust the sensitivity level. A great map to sort out your rocket jumping is jump_4starters. I highly recommend that map to practice rocket jumping, but you need a ton of patience as it take an incredibly long time to get through. One day I went crazy and went on for nine hours almost constantly. Got from being stuck on B2 to being stuck on C2. If you go on that map, you have to start on A, because B is harder than A; C is harder than B, and D is harder than C. Just being able to rocket jump upwards help you a great deal as soldier since you can pinpoint where the enemy is heading, and deal splash damage on groups of people. If you think about it, if you shoot horizontally rather than straight down from the air, there's a good chance you'll miss. Not so if you take to the air and slam a rocket at your enemies. -

I was playing lobbies numerous times as I want to attempt to get into competitive TF2. One guy, if I recall correctly, for some reason, whined at me and said anyone can play Scout. The answer is: yes, anyone can play Scout IF they put tons of practice into it just like with Soldier, Demo, etc. The reason why I mainly play Scout was due to MvM. Need to get all dat cash. Since then I've been playing Scout a whole lot. I'm not fantastic as Scout, but then again, you need to be attempting to dodge all forms of threats while at the same time attempting to pick off lone enemies. You gotta let your movement help you aim as well. If you move in one direction but turn the other direction to aim at an enemy, you're making it difficult for yourself to aim. I've just really been lucky, I guess, with the fact I had TF2 for so long, so I can play any class decently due to the amount of time I've been playing this game, lol. Anyway, I would say that playing MvM as Scout is a great way to get better at it. Better if you play expert, if you're brave enough. Something that I did a couple years ago was use Black Box. It's fine, I guess, if you don't care about rocket jumping. Now, however, I use standard Rocky because the +1 clip size from the Black Box is incredibly useful. Especially since I have an extra rocket to be able to maneuver quickly to get an advantage on enemies or to simply get away. Because of this, I use Gunboats all the time. It's the class I use to play more often than any other class, but I steered towards Scout quite a lot because you get things done fast as that class. If you want, you can add me. My Steam name is Tootiboy. I usually play on public servers, since my main goal in TF2 is... lo and behold... have fun! EDIT: I'll add you, since you have your steam account linked in your profile. -

I could say unboxing an unusual after opening ~25 crates as my greatest accomplishment, but it really, really isn't. I guess it is in TRADE Fortress 2, but TEAM Fortress 2? Absolutely not. THIS. RIGHT HERE. Is my greatest accomplishment. Still, to this day, the best kill I pulled off in such an incredibly tight situation. A shame I didn't record it in full 1080p... -

I've played TF2 for five years now... Anyway, it's actually done me some good because it gives me a reason to actually stream. I'm not as good as I could be had I took the game seriously, but then again I only ever played TF2 for fun, not for the competitive nature of the game. If you wanna join in my stream, just search the very same username as this. It's your choice though, after all. I'll be back to streaming on Monday, as an FYI. I usually play Scout with Sandman and the Flying Guillotine, along with stock scattergun. Such a ridiculously fun combination. It really is. -

I found a compilation video which is two hours long. So. Frickin'. Hilarious! I feel that he is being serious about it. Just because he's way up in the extreme in terms of the hating doesn't automatically make him an actor, though cans.wav. I actually doubt someone could act that out for such a long time. Also: I'M BEING INFESTED BY TRANSTESTICLE OVERLY FEMINISED BRONIES!! -
The negatives and Positives of the MLP Fandom
TooTsaka replied to Fluttashy's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I've actually had a little conversation with an internet friend who revealed himself to be a writer for FimFiction and writes some clopfics. I asked him why he enjoys clopfics, and he stated that it has nothing to do with them actually being ponies. It's just seeing the characters that he likes be in a romantic relationship with one another. May I stress the word ROMANTIC. It's not a sake of sex for the sake of it. And in these sorts of stories, they face greater problems that they overcome. Much like this needless hatred of people who appreciate clopfics. I'm actually open enough to go ahead and give them a try myself, and I read one of this guy's stories. I can see where he was coming from. It's a lot more than just seeing two ponies go at each other. Also, these are like the opposite of clopfics, which you have mentioned, so I guess the number 1 was aimed to clopfics. I happen to enjoy grimdark fanfics when written well, like Rainbow Factory. Cupcakes was ok. You're not a fan of the two extremes. That's fine. But there are people who enjoy the two extremes and just because you don't doesn't mean you have to go complain about them. Especially don't go ahead and brand them as some mentally disturbed person, because very often they're not. Sometimes I love having an open mind because I can delve deeper into matters like this, and it's actually interesting when you actually delve into why people like certain things which are deemed to be 'wrong'. I mean, grimdark. Not a whole lot to say there. It's about the intense amount of emotion in the stories, not for the love of seeing MLP characters being brutally murdered. It's the shock factor. A feeling of sadness. -
I have to say, for an 'amateur', I'm really digging this music so far. Had a listen to Molestia's and Dischord's Theme and, even though I personally don't feel they match the characters, it's still a good listen. It's not exactly something I'd listen to on its own, but would really be nice to listen to while I'm streaming. I think it's because there's no 'story' in this music so it works better when listening to it in the background. Will definitely check out your YouTube account and listen to some more. By the way, as long as the quality is good, people will notice you. Just have patience! EDIT: Hey, what did I say...? Just realised your first post was February 2012. Dayumn, you're doing well. Can't say I'm surprised at that though. Well done! EDIT 2: Just listened to your latest piece and holy SHI-. I actually howled in laughter - it was that awesome - when it came to the drop. This is the first time I've actually appreciated dubstep. The closest I got to it was psystep. Still, dubstep's not my sorta thing, but since I like this... damn, your music is good!

Your Favorite MLP Episode: Round Two Series

This is an easy one I guess. The Smile song... at first I thought it was incredibly cheesy but then... holy shit when every character joins in with the singing... it's incredible! But as people said, this is pretty much the only highlight of the episode. Doesn't mean that the episode is bad - far from it! It just means it doesn't come close to The Return of Harmony (Part 2). Seriously, that part when Twilight gets absolutely torn apart was almost heart breaking. No, Return of Harmony (Part 2) for sure. There's no doubt about that. -
Wow... I don't even know how I can even critique this. It's... perfect! The only criticism anyone could even give is HURR DURR MAKE IT MORE LIKE THE ART STYLE OF MLP! I haven't ever considered commissions - especially since I have nothing I especially want. But this... holy hell. I suppose since I watched MLP I wanted something and it's that typical scenario of wanting to see myself as a pony, which would be pretty cool. I guess I have some idea of what I should look like, so I at least have that on my side for the moment. Damn good work, I have to say. It's moments like these I wish I could draw...

I think the leader should be the person who declares Princess Celestia as best pony. Moreover, I think it should be the first person to declare Princess Celestia as best pony. PRINCESS CELESTIA IS BEST PONY! I CALLED IT! Now, since we don't have any information on any other person declaring her as best pony... I now declare that I am now the leader of Equestria!

Seriously. That looks absolutely epic and... I WANT IT DAMMIT! I'm not obsessed enough to go ahead and buy cheap toys just to have the characters in my room. I want QUALITY! Which is why I'm bummed I missed out of vinyl models of Derpy and some other character I don't remember now. That's the standard I go for. But this? This? $15 for this? HELL YES! HELL! YES!

gaming What Video Game levels/bosses make you rage?
TooTsaka replied to Moon Rat's topic in Media Discussion
I'm serious, lol. I am guessing how much time I spent on trying to kill him. I don't really know how long exactly I spent on it. I didn't have nearly as much trouble beating Dracula as I did trying to kill the Guy. I mean... I got past him in the end, didn't I? With the Guy... it just wasn't happening. -

This... Guy. Seriously I've never ragequitted a game before I got up to him. I felt proud of finally getting through everything and was prepared to do whatever it takes to BEAT THIS GODDAMN GAME. I was not prepared. Seriously, I must have spent like three hours trying to murder the living SHHH- out of him I got to the third part of the second half of the battle. Holy of all holies was he stupidly difficult to beat. I don't care about trying to beat him now. It just requires way too much effort - and besides, I ALMOST got to the end, didn't I? That's an achievement in its own right. -

Wait, wait, wait, wait... what? Cutie Mark Chronicles won over Hearth's Warming Eve?! Actually, wait, I remember this episode now.. and it's fair enough that Cutie Mark Chronicles won in the end. It's a damn good episode. Would've been a tough choice for me to choose between the two. ANYway... A Dog and a Pony show... where to begin... WEEEEEEEEEELL... I can't really say much about it compared to Cutie Mark Chronicles. I mean, COME ON! We're looking at these characters' histories and how they earned their cutie marks whereas in the former, Rarity gets... kidnapped and ends up having them cleverly wrapped around her finger pretty much the whole time. There isn't a whole lot of emotional depth to it, which is what I want to see in an MLP episode. This is why I love Hearth's Warming Eve and A Canterlot Wedding. The depth of emotion they display is... simply insane for a show that's supposed to be for kids. This is basically why I have to go for Cutie Mark Chronicles and it wasn't a tough choice, really. Sure, A Dog and a Pony Show actually shows Rarity as a good character, which is rare, and is something I'm eternally grateful for. I hate seeing her supposedly being generous and... ends up being selfish instead. Sure, she sacrifices a lot of her time for her friends, but other than that... she doesn't show much generosity at all. But that doesn't make the episode a win just because of that. In Cutie Mark Chronicles, there are two scenes that I absolutely love, and that's the part where Twilight is unable to control her magic - hell, even when she heartbreakingly apologises to the judges(?) for wasting their time and the part when Rainbow Dash first performs the Sonic Rainboom. Those scenes were just astonishing. Oh, also: 'MY DESTINY IS A ROCK?!' XD Even though the whole story was pretty cheesy (we were destined to become friends! Wait... that reminds me of Digimon which I also love...) it still gives a heartwarming story all in all and has a good pace to it as each of the Mane 6 explain how they got their cutie marks. Seriously... why wouldn't you want to learn how they got them? Seriously! Yeah, Cutie Mark Chronicles, hands down. I'm actually slapping both hands on my desk for this one... -
Oh, oh, oh! I got one!! Manechester! And yes, I live in England. Other than that, I have absolutely no idea what else there could be. My geography skills are lacking here.

Your Favorite MLP Episode: Round Two Series
TooTsaka replied to SuperUltimateBrony's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
This is... yeah. More difficult than round four and now I'm really having trouble thinking which might be that little bit better than the other. Swarm of the Century had a pretty damn big impact on me with the ending how Pinkie somehow knew what parasprites were and Twilight didn-... wait... WHAT? Pinkie knew what parasprites were but Twilight didn't? Feh, that didn't really bother me, and yes, I did realise that fact before I even started writing this comment. Still, it was simply hilarious when everyone panics and Pinkie's just chilling and ignoring everyone to get as many instruments as possible. "Don't worry! I'll save you!' or something along those lines and 'saves' a flute instead of Rarity. That one cracked me up. Then... May the Best Pet Win.. ahhh. I knew where it was heading. It was too blatantly obvious where it was heading. That tortoise will win! That tortoise won! I am now psychic! Still, same as with Swarm of the Century... it didn't bother me all that much at all. I was hoping for that ending. If, for some reason, it didn't end like that... well, what exactly is the point of the episode? It was humorous/kinda upsetting watching the tortoise try its best in something that's, well... impossible for it. I kinda feel like it's the Hare and the Tortoise scenario for some reason. Basically since every other pet is faster than the tortoise is and that the tortoise is... well... a tortoise and happens to somehow win against all odds. Anyway, Swarm of the Century has one of my favourite background music. Seriously, how can you not bop your head to it? Yes, I'm talking about the 'Pinkie's Parasprite Polka', and it will be permanently etched into my memory because of the ending where's the parasprites are all bopping along behind her. There's just something about that scene that really touched me. At this point I'm still trying to decide which one to vote for, but I think I'll give the vote to May the Best Pet Win simply because it has more depth to it than Swarm of the Century. Rainbow Dash's disgust of Tank and having to come to terms of just what sort of personality Tank has which none of the other pets displayed... it was a very nice scenario and really drives into people's heads that looks don't equal personality. -
mega thread What would your cutie mark be? And why?
TooTsaka replied to Owlowiscious's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I was thinking about this some time ago. It's kinda... bound to happen since cutie marks are such a unique idea and can be applied to real life - except we don't get them, duh! I had it in my head that... I still haven't discovered what exactly it is I'm good at. I'm fumbling around so much and I'm 19 for buck's sake! I'm at university doing Psychology because I found it pretty easy to understand and remember - at college, I must stress. I'm been neglecting the things that I'm... at least decent at. Other people say I'm very good at them, but I think I'm only decent - and that's writing stories and playing the piano. I feel playing the piano is pretty much my raw talent since I found it easy to play more complex pieces rather than simple ones without having played the piano at all beforehand. So... a book with the picture of a piano on the cover..? I dunno. It has to look less boring than that, tbh. Wait... wait... would I become one of those fabled double cutie mark ponies? Da faq? -
When I saw it, I thought of Audiosurf. I had the mindset that... I dunno. I don't know what I was thinking and why. I just thought Audiosurf and thought... 'Wouldn't that be... too difficult..?' Then I saw the trailer and the idea just clicked then, and I have to say it does look pretty awesome! It's got that sort of... Bit.Trip Runner and IWBTG feel to it. And of course... Audiosurf - or any other music orientated game, I guess. I would simply love to give this game a go, certainly!
