I believe you have to be a subscriber to change your title.
 
There was a special thing that went on like a year ago or something. It was a celebration for something, but I don't remember what it was now. Anyways, everyone had subscriber privileges for like a week so a lot of people changed them then and now they can't edit them unless they become a subscriber.
