Belle Drop

Belle Drop was born in Cloudsdale as the middle filly to a mother of seven. Her older brothers and sister were always getting into trouble, and her little sisters needed a lot of attention. She didn't mind being ignored most of the time, because she was more interested in spending time tinkering and playing with her shiny toys (electronics). She wasn't really good at flying too fast, and she didn't really make a lot of friends. Everyone thought she was kind of strange. She always chose the most difficult solution to any problem, because solving the issues to get there was amusing to her. She preferred staying inside to playing outdoors, and often forwent meals and sleep when she was focused on something.
Even though her mother and siblings didn't pay her too much attention, she exchanged e-mails with her dad, who was away on business, every single day. He saw something special in her different mind, and though he wouldn't admit it aloud, Belle was his favourite child. He worked a lot in Maretropolis, and would write her about all the strange and colourful people and places the bustling city had to offer. One day, when she reached marehood, she packed her tools and trinkets and kissed her mother goodbye.
She had decided that maybe the city of Maretropolis would be more welcoming to a unique pony like her. She was right. The food and smells and music and lights were all different, just like she was. She was even able to open her own electronics repair store! This is where she has lived and worked ever since. She even made a few friends in the real world.
To her friends online, she is known as bigDeal. The initials of her username give a hint to her true identity, but their online friend group likes to stay anonymous, as they share secrets.

Although more than friendly enough, Belle Drop maintains a certain level of seriousness, especially about her interests and work. She's known to get hyperfocused on tasks she finds interesting, and so can engage in conversations about many different subject matters. Belle maintains very few friendships offline, but would do anything to help them. She is bluntly honest and matter-of-fact, and can be derisive, but it's typically jokingly and well-meant. This contradictive character can come off as abrasive to those not able to read between the lines.

Belle Drop is a light gray pegasus mare, with a scruffy viridian-green mane streaked with pale yellow and sky blue, and has a tail the same colour wrapped in an indigo-violet tie at the base. Her eyes are a brighter green of the same tone, with flecks and shimmers of the same blue and yellow. Her earlobes are stretched with plugs the same indigo-violet colour as her tail-wrap. She wears a pale indigo-violet eyeshadow. Her wings are gray like her body, with green-blue-yellow feathers inside similar to her hair colour. Her cutie mark is an indigo-violet Conway's Game of Life glider.
