Book Mark

Book Mark is an Alicorn from a distant land, she took up resedence in Canterlot recently though, running a small library. its unclear how she became an alicorn, or if like Flurry Heart she was born that way, not that it matters as she has her wings covered most of the time, and most would not realise she was anything but a unicorn without scrutiny. some of the ponies coming though say she told them the story of her cutie mark, on a schoool trip she got lost in a library, and wasn't found till quite late at night, in a far corner behind a huge bookshelf, quietly reading books grades above her classmate's reading level. 

Book Mark has a very quiet demeanor, not shy, simply does not talk, some ponies question if she can talk, as most of the time she answers with a nod or point of the hoof, if not simply handing the requested item to the pony who requested it sans words. its highly suspected she may have ASD, though seems rather happy to write out answers to conversations relating to books and such. she is a very caring individual, taking joy in others being happy around her. she is quite good at comforting children, with or without words, though she typically needs the other librarians to take over story time, much to her own disapointment.
