Personality:

On the surface, Cutter appears no different from his fellow non-transformed changelings. Just as evil, just as cruel, and always hungry. If Cutter were to represent a sin it would be Gluttony since he loves feeding on love as often as one would drink water. But there is of course more to this particular changeling than mere outward appearances.

 

Cutter is cocky, vain, pretentious, a real braggart, overconfident, overly ambitious, overzealous in his loyalty to Queen Chrysalis, arrogant, brash, and thinks highly of himself often to the annoyance of others. Further, he is completely oblivious to the sad truth that his whole mission for his beloved queen is a lie and that he is generally considered a nuisance to his fellow changelings. Plus he is considered crazy even by his own kind. Cutter is also frightened by change and new things. 

 

Further, Cutter is the epitome of a narcissistic, manipulative slime ball. He tends to see others not as friends or allies, but as tools to be used by him as he sees fit. Take his partner in crime, Rapid Quill for example, as much as he has grown to genuinely like him he still sees him as the perfect pawn in his plans. He likes taking advantage of the fact that Rapid relates to him due to them both feeling ostracized and hated by their own kind. He treats anybody who relates to him the same way. He’s so bad in fact, that he makes egotistical jerks like Svengallop look like complete angels by comparison. He sometimes becomes possessive of Rapid Quill and gets jealous whenever the unicorn is trying to make friends with others.

 

Given his overzealous loyalty to Queen Chysalis he strongly dislikes everyone that stands against her and being told that he isn’t nearly as evil as he thinks. He hates traitors and from his point of view that would include Thorax and the rest of the reformed changelings as he thinks them weak fools for betraying their queen like that. He is also very combat ready, has a strong distaste of pretty things like flowers, and he hates talking about feelings. He likes hurting others because he thinks it’s fun.

 

Furthermore, he enjoys creating chaos by confusing others with his shapeshifting and spot on impersonations. With the help of his voice mimicry and stellar acting skills he is usually able to trick others into helping him or giving him information. He also enjoys playing mind games with people as well as political debates.

 

On a much lighter note as evil as he claims to be he genuinely enjoys making sandwiches and running his sandwich shop in Ponyville. He has a crazy amount of knowledge on various cheeses and meats. He also loves collecting knives and knows various cutting techniques; which helps him create his sandwiches; which the ponies seem to love. He also enjoys putting on magic shows with his magical assistant, Rapid Quill.

 

And for all his talk of disliking ponies and anything they create he has secretly grown fond of some of their stuff namely their food, music and confections though he will never admit it except to maybe Rapid Quill. He also really adores his pet blue coral tarantula, Chauncey. Sometimes he’ll send his small pet out to spy on the ponies as he is able to understand her. He usually has her ride on top of his head or in his mane. This fact makes it increasingly difficult for Cutter to want to go through with his "mission." It also shows that he is not as evil as he thinks and has the potential to transform. It is largely his own fears (is metathesiophobic) and stubborn pride that’s holding him back.

Physical Description:

In his true form, Cutter looks like your typical non reformed changeling. He is black with red non-reflective eyes and red insect like wings. Like all non-reformed changelings he has a webbed mane and tail, sharp, pointy fangs, a bent horn, and holes in his legs. He also has a few nasty scars from all of the fights he’s been in and a couple around his hooves from when he accidentally cut himself while first learning how to handle knives.

 

In his main pegasus disguise he has a light minty green coat with two different shades of green in his mane and tail. He has bright yellow eyes and three black freckles on his face. His cutie mark is that of a block of cheddar cheese with a knife sticking in the middle of it. He still has the same battle scars from his changeling form and he usually has his pet blue cobalt tarantula, Chauncey riding around either in his mane or on top of his head.

Likes: Queen Chrysalis and helping her in anyway he can, total chaos, being evil, feeding on love and happiness, using and manipulating others especially Rapid Quill into doing what he wants, tricking others, confusing others with his shapeshifting, impersonating/acting like other people, making sandwiches, cheese, knives, his extensive knife collection, flying, spying, espionage, playing mind games, doing his magic acts with Rapid Quill, helping Rapid Quill find stories to write about, bragging, politics, political debates, the dark, spooky stuff, Nightmare Night, loud music, concerts, coffee, apple cider especially the alcoholic kind, sugar and all sorts of sweets, reading, and his pet tarantula, Chauncy.

Dislikes: King Thorax, Starlight Glimmer, The Mane Six, any do-gooder really especially whenever they catch on to him, being told that he can’t feed, failing to deceive, not being taken seriously, confrontations, being tricked, teleporting, getting lost, being told that he is not as evil as he thinks he is, traitors, laziness, change, having to use a pony sounding name while in disguise, those that hate spiders, being called a bug, being called weird and crazy.
