Backstory:
Ptera was born in the small pegasus town of Cloudsdale where they attended flight school and junior flying camp. They were bullied a lot due to their androgynous build and appearance, and because of that they had formed a bond with the other bullied fillies and colts, more so with Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.
Ptera left their home at the age of sixteen, when they discovered their love for adventure and moved to Rainbow Falls.

Ptera is pretty laid back and easy going when not on an adventure. They have chosen to stand up for those who are unable to stand up for themselves.
