Shining

Shining had always lived with her mother, brothers and sisters in their cozy cave in the Everfree. Her father, on the other hoof, was a Pegasus who worked for the Royal guard in Canterlot. Shining would visit her father ever so often, despite the disapproval from her mother, and they would patrol the castle together.

But soon, there was a break in at the castle. Her dad had died in battle trying to fend off the intruder. Shining was heart broken, her mother tried to calm her down, but she snapped, and distanced herself from her family. Eventually she ran away, she ran all the way to Canterlot. As she ran into the castle, she collapsed on the floor from exhaustion. Some guards near by took her in and started raising/ training her to be a guard, she asked to be trained. From there, she became a patrol guard and vowed to do as great, or better, than her dad did.

 she is slightly arrogant, sassy, is nice despite the first thing, quite stubborn, unsure when it comes to magic. She has a bit of a crowd presence when she's dancing, though she has a but of social awkwardness when she's regularly talking.

The picture of her is right above, but one thing I forgot to add on the ref sheet was her jacket she wears on her off duty time. It's a dark grey short sleeve jacket with a purple under shirt. The jacket comes down to just above her wings. I'll include an old image with her in it. But in her guard uniform she has her hair in a braid, which I have yet to draw, that's the only main difference.
