Cutie Mark: Growing up, Ace and his dad would bond by playing cards. Under the training of his father, he became very skilled at shuffling with his hooves, card tricks and counting cards. He discovered that this was his special talent after participating in a local poker tournament in Fillydelphia.

Personality: Ace is usually a quiet and easy going pony, who manages to get along well with most everyone, though he does clash with several other ponies. Growing up, he found a love for card games, and has since developed a very solid poker-face. Some others have trouble trusting him because of the fact that he has a record of lying (for reasons selfish and selfless). He sticks with his friends, and is supportive of them whenever possible.

Backstory: Born and raised in Fillydelphia, he had a fairly normal childhood. He and his father would play cards while his mother prepared dinner. Even though he was proficient in the use of magic, Silver did not have much use for it, since he could easily do many tasks with his hooves. Teal found amusement in using cosmetic spells. He applied the techniques to make elaborate disguises, and even created several false identities. He moved to Canterlot at the age of fourteen and started a career as a professional poker player. He soon found a use for his knowledge of a particular branch of magic, and started moonlighting as a con-artist. After running several successful cons, he was nearly caught. He decided to quit while he was ahead, so he retired, and moved to Ponyville when he was 16.
