Appearance: Ace of Spades is a peculiar-looking pony, with his curly, red-and-black mane contrasting starkly with his plain white coat. He is a heterochromiac, with one odd red eye and the other a deep, almost black brown, and his tail is docked quite close to his body, most likely for practical reasons.

Cutie Mark: Ace of Spades' cutie mark is a simple spade, half red and half black. Its meaning is highly symbolic in nature, as his skill in sleight of hoof and card tricks extends to his less-than-legal tendencies and ability in such ventures.

Personality: Ace of Spades is arrogant and self-confident, annoyingly so. The stallion is pompous, self-righteous, and thinks far too highly of himself. He's liable to talk down to others, as if they are beneath him, and his 'goodhearted' mannerisms are likely to make others want to kick him in the snout.

Backstory: Ace of Spades was born in the... poorer parts of Manehattan, the slums, mainly. He grew up without much struggle, however, due to his charismatic and sly nature. He left as soon as it was practical and started making a less-than respected name for himself in Equestria, as a travelling 'magician,' using sleight of hoof tricks to swindle ponies out of their hard-earned bits.
