Appearance: Acheron sports a light to medium brown coat with streaks of black. These streaks are positioned and joined around his spine and ribs, giving an appearance of a skeleton. In addition, some of these pattern travel up to his face and neck in a sickle like fashion. Acheron's mane is black, and is medium long with natural locks of curls. His eyes are also dark, dark brown.<br />While not the tallest pony around, he is slightly taller than the average unicorn. His body is bulky, but not overly bulky.<br />Acheron's magic aura is green.

Cutie Mark: A mysterious, somewhat creepy looking grimoire. The cover of the dark tome bears a jaggedy question mark surrounded by the Ouroboros symbol. His cutie mark represents his knowledge of the forbidden, as well as his continual search for other knowledge.

Personality: Acheron is a bit of a loner, obviously preferring to be out and about on his own, or at the very least with a very small group of others. He is cold and serious, carrying himself in a manner which demands respect. Should he ever see the opportunity to take command of something, he will, and usually guides certain individuals to achieve something he finds they lack. However, Acheron seldom shows true notions of kindness and friendship.<br />Acheron is also an avid seeker of knowledge, devouring whatever information he can find. However, "regular" knowledge is not enough for him, so Acheron actually delves into the realm of forbidden knowledge, learning things one should not even know existed, and is often consumed by the desire to gain more and more of this type of knowledge.

Backstory: Acheron became an adept mage early in his youth and earned his cutie mark of a magical tome. In spite of this and the praises of his elders, Acheron grew increasingly unsatisfied with himself because he felt that his magic, even when exerted to its fullest potential, was lacking. With this frustration and growing envy of other mages he felt were better, the unicorn began to seek knowledge, power, in the realm of the forbidden.<br />In mere months, Acheron's knowledge of forbidden things had grown vast. He even did something which many if not all ponies would brand as anathema... alter his own cutie mark. Twisting the magic tome to become the grimoire surrounded by the symbol Ouroboros, it wasn't long before the council of his homeland thought to execute him. However, they changed their minds when a couple of elite ponies convinced them to spare him....<br /><br />(What comes after this? Guess you'll have to find out!)
