Appearance: Afterglow is an orange mare with a messy hot pink mane ending in a braid with a glowstick binding it together at the end. Her eyes are teal and almost appear glowing, She has one piercing through her eyebrow and two through her right ear.<br /><br />She is a bit above avrage when it comes to leanght, Otherwise she is like most other ponies in her body build. <br /><br />She wears a purple and metal headset with light pink neon lights. Afterglow wears cyan and warm purple glowsticks around her left front leg.

Cutie Mark: Her cutiemark is an equaliser transitioning between a hot pink, orange and teal.<br /><br />Her cutiemark has two meanings. Mainly it represents her talent for making music with perfect balance (equalizing it). <br /><br />The second meaning is that she is very down to earth and has a very balanced personality.

Personality: Afterglow is a very down to earth pony, she has a good understanding about the enviroment around her. Being a very tomboyish character in the stereotypical sense, Afterglow is a bit cocky and acts a bit like what's concidered boy-ish.<br /><br />Afterglow is a perfectionist when it comes to her music which comes back to her cutiemarks meaning. She has a good judge of character and can usually tell alot by first impressions.<br /><br />She is a pacifist and doesn't like weapons even in her vicinity. Afterglow is a playful character, And is rather hyped when preforming on stage to get the crowd going and wild. <br /><br />Afterglow is kind of a people pleaser due to her past, So therefore she puts alot of effort into making her music perfect.<br /><br />She is an optimist and tries to be positive most of the time, But when she gets down she has a major break down. With her perfectionistic traits, she just doesn't know what to do when something goes majorly wrong. Cheering her up in a this state is a very hard task.

Backstory: Afterglow grew up in a poor family, since she was the only child her parents expected alot of her. She showed alot of promise with the piano and was able to make a small amount of money by playing for a very rich family. The father in the family owned a currupt business that manifactured weapons for criminal organisations. Through this she developed a hate for weapons and war.<br /><br />Her mother was un employed, and after having multiple job interviews turned down she was almost not even trying anymore and started to rely on Afterglow to make money. It didn't take long before the pressure was to much and she left her home to work on her own.<br /><br />At this time she also broke away from the family she worked for and moved to another city all together. The new city had a much better enviroment, but this city didn't provide the same oppertunities as the last but she could at least tolarate living here. <br /><br />She soon started to work for a new family, a family much more client caring. They listened to her music and gave her compliments and admiration, Wich was something entirely new to her. It drove her forwards and inspired her to make more music. This family opened up something else that also was new to her, a new genre of music called EDM. She was fascinated with this unheard music, and it didn't take long before she started making her own. She became famous in the samll Town she now found herself in, And through this she also gained her cutiemark. Afterglow soon gained more and more attention outside of the small town this attracted many contractors.<br /><br />Two contranctors came to visit her, One of the contractors offered fame and money but she didn't really like him all to much. The other contractor wanted to treat her to dinner at his house with his family, Which she gladly accepted. She turned out to like this one alot more and didn't want to be treated like a money machine as she was before and signed a contract with him.<br /><br />Even though it would be alot easier for her to move back into a larger city, She chose comfort over conveniance and stayed in the small town. Her doing this attracted alot of ponies to her new home.
