Appearance: Amber is a light orange color, similar to Applejacks, with a blue mane a tiny bit more saturated than the blue in Rainbow Dash's mane. Her eyes are an emerald green. Her only accessory is a bookbag strapped to her side, in which she keeps her materials for art and writing, such as pencils, paper, markers, etc. Her mane is a bit like Rainbow Dash's, with the forward and backward spikes, but her's are a bit more in all directions, not just forward. Her tail is short and cut, yet still wild like her mane.

Cutie Mark: Her Cutie Mark is an open book being written in by a pencil. She discovered it at an age a bit older than the rest of the students in her class, when she was assigned a final report to graduate from her fillies class, and accidentally wrote a book with a spell that could transport you to another universe. She discovered that writing was her true talent when she wrote a counter-spell to stop her first spell from wreaking chaos all over Equestria.

Personality: Her personality, thought very quirky and sarcastic, is still enjoyable and friendly. She takes her work very seriously and takes pride in the art and stories she creates. Her magic, along with the normal Unicorn telekinesis, involves the ability to make people believe the lies that she often tells to get out of trouble. She can't control minds, but she can make anyone believe her crazy stories, in a way, controlling them.

Backstory: Amber grew up in Manehattan, where she'd come from a long line of authors and illustrators. Her parents never seemed to have time to take care of her, so she ran away to Canterlot at the age of 8, where she was taken care of by a nice elderly family for the most of her childhood. She enrolled in Canterlot's Academy for Talented Authors when she was 13, almost four years after she'd gotten her Cutie Mark, and graduated from the Academy at the age of 18. She spent her years until now writing tales of the unknown, and unintentionally causing mishap in Canterlot.
