Personality: Amethyst Blaze is typically silent unless talked to. She tends not to want to interact with others, and shies away from social activities and events unless it directly involves her. Even then, she's remarkably stone-faced about everything. She keeps her emotions a complete mystery at the best of times.<br /><br />Her lack of social interaction stems from her previous interactions with others. Emotionally distant because of how others have treated her, and tired of events that erupt into fights and dramatic conflict, she's learned that the best possible option to avoid it is to simply limit her interaction as much as possible. She simply keeps to herself.

Backstory: Amethyst Blaze was abandoned from birth, as is typical of the dragon species. From there, she was introduced into a world of immense danger and eternal struggle. Fighting off predators, finding food, and hiding from other dragons was her life, and over time, she found herself consumed by primal urges, turning her into a beast.<br /><br />It was the drake Crimson Flare that dropped down, and taught her how to be different. Already having his own experiences with the same problems, he taught her about herself as well, and imparted his knowledge and experience on her. In time, she grew to leave the mindless part of her past behind her, though it had already by then left its mark on her. She now lives with him in the Canterlot, having grown accustomed to having him around, though she does occasionally fly off when she needs something.
