Personality: Annabelle, or Belle as she prefers, is a girl always with a smile on her face and kind word ready for any who needs it. She can't help but be drawn to those that need help and do her best to ease whatever suffering they have. She's just naturally very motherly to those she meets, although she shows more concern for those she considers friends. Belle is always fussing over her friends, making sure they're eating enough or that they're comfortable.<br /><br />Besides Belle's capacity for caring, she's also quite observant. Belle uses what she observes in whichever way she feels more inclined- either to help or hinder the person in question. Belle will usually choose to help, but there are occasions when someone has managed to get on her bad side. This happens by hurting, emotionally or physically, any of her family. Belle is extremely protective of her family, honorary members included, and any who attempt to hurt them will have to face her wrath. <br /><br />Belle is an upbeat person. She always looks on the bright side, and tries to get others to do the same. No situation is too dire for her to smile at. Such a sunny way of looking at everything can get annoying, especially when Belle babbles on and on, as she's apt to do sometimes.<br /><br />Belle is also very determined and not one to shy away from hard work. Some might call her stubborn. She certainly doesn't change her opinions easily. Another thing is that Belle hates to be separated from those she considers family. Although she doesn't show it much, she always gets highly anxious and makes sure to contact them at least once a day.

Backstory: Annabelle Matsuo was born to a rather wealthy family. Her father worked in computer programming, and her mother was a lawyer. Belle had two older siblings, a brother and a sister, whom she loved dearly. For the first years of her life, they were basically a normal family. They fought and laughed and lived as any other family. Belle went to a private school and had a dedicated group of friends, whom she loved dearly. <br /><br />Then, one day, when Belle was twelve years old things took a change for the worse. She was sleeping over a friend's house one weekend when some thugs broke into her family's house. Her parents were brutally beaten and her siblings were kidnapped. The FBI were called in and Belle was not allowed to leave the house. As hard as they tried, however, the kidnappers killed her brother and sister after her father wired them the money against the FBI's recommendation.<br /><br />Belle had a bit of a breakdown after that. She blamed herself for what happened, thinking that if she had been home she might've been able to do something different. For a year or so afterward Belle was a depressed, nervous wreck. It took months of therapy before she got back to semi-normal and she still has to see a therapist every once in a while.
