Appearance: An olive green earth pony with a blue ponytail mane and a fairly short tail.

Cutie Mark: A fossil, to signify his interest in archaeology.

Personality: Usually very quiet and reserved. He often talks to himself, and he tends to get quite excited over his work. He is very kind, although the oppressive rule of Omnia in Ponynesia has made him somewhat paranoid and wary.

Backstory: Born in Manehattan, his parents were both businessponies who wanted him to inherit the family business of building machinery. Archaic had other plans, however. He was infatuated by ancient relics and fossils, and eventually earned his cutie mark after discovering a never before seen fossil. He left Manehattan for Ponynesia, a country far to the north past the Crystal Empire, where he'd heard of the ruins of the Coltillian civilization. Once there, he made a new life for himself in Bridlewood, where he eventually founded the Bridlewood Archaeological Museum. He lives out his days supervising excavations in Ponynesia, although he will often travel if he receives word of new discoveries.<br /><br />Archaic has never met Swordpoint, but he has heard of him.
