Species: Earth Pony

Appearance: A tan-coloured Earth Pony, with a elegantly groomed long blonde mane. About average in hight and physics, maybe a tad to the tall and skinny side of the scale. Her eyes are large and sad, with a sharp ice blue colour. Her ears are pointy and hanging, giving her a shy look.

Cutie Mark: Arinas cutie mark is a sword leaving a circle of flames. Her cutie mark is a remenant of her dead father. A unicorn knight. One of the few things her father left her. She likes to call it the Blacksword as she is still in the dark about its meaning. She has yet to discover its true meaning, feeling it unsuting to her feminine personality.

Personality: As very feminine pony she is open and including, making friends easily. She has a lot of charm and grace which she uses to get her will, rather than using a temper. At times she can be quite sly. But at the bottom of her heart, she is kind and caring.<br /><br />Sometimes though, she enjoys a good prank and some ghoststories.

Backstory: She grew up in the harbour village of Trottingham, with my Unicorn father, Knight Blacky the Brave and her Earth Pony mother Healda the Apothecary. Her father died when she was 8, protecting the city from a rampaging Cockatrice. Her mother never remarried and raised Arina and her unicorn sister Hoovanna alone. Arina stayed a lot with her fathers mother, which was a real lady who had lived at court in Canterlot. A stark contrast to her swashbuckling sister who went out to sea at age 16 to be an adventurer. <br /><br />Arinas big dream was to be accepted at court, and go to fancy gallas as often as possible. But her mother and grandparents will not allow her to go until she has discovered her special ability and the meaning of her cutiemark. Her grandfather (a former knight) belives that it is more to Arina than she would know. Seeming like a perfect copy of her mother, very little of her father shines trough. But a wise old man knows that chivalery and bravery comes in diffrent forms, and maybe one day Arina will undertand why a sword is her cutie mark. Will the legacy of several generations of pony knights shine trough?
