Cutie Mark: A golden bit with wings. Ari learned as a young colt he could talk anypony out of a few extra bits. He also learned his own bits can be lost just as quickly. A bit of a double edged sword, he loves to grift, but easy come, easy go!

Personality: Golden coat, winning smile. All compliments to your face and all laughter to your back. Ari makes friends superficially wherever he goes. He makes connections and networks with both reputable ponies and degenerates. He is known as a fixer and can fix any problem any pony has by using the right contact for a fee of course! He also tends to run many schemes that pan out and go sour and usually run on the wrong side of the law. He isn't a fighter and he loves attention and shiny objects and things that make him laugh.<br /><br />He's pretty smart and can turn a quick bit, but his golden coat is pretty recognizable so if he gets caught, he's in big trouble since he uses his looks to hustle. He is also at a flat disadvantage at sneaking or fighting. Charm and guile is pretty much all he has. He isn't a master or anything and his schemes work as many times as they fail.

Backstory: This is Aureus Argentulus. Most ponies call him Ari. He is from the major Roman city of Leptis Magna in North Africa. Although he comes from affluence, he prefers the life of a fixer. If anypony needs anything, Ari has a guy he can talk to... for a price. His parents, fed up with his roguish ways have recently sent him to Rome to live with his grim and stoic Uncle Virtus, much to Ari's displeasure. Here he is supposed to be attending the Ludus Magna and learning the proper Roman ways of a proper Roman pegasus. As if! What his doddering uncle doesn't know won't hurt him. Ari's here to make some bits and live the life!
