Backstory: Beige Machete is a thug who once attacked the dojo where Crimson Katana resides. He used to be a student in the dojo, but because he kept insisting in using real swords for killing, he was challenged by his teacher, and got the tendons in his right hoof cut, preventing him from using a sword with his right hoof. He comes back later, claiming to be Zanbato and using the Kamiya Kasshin Style, he attacks the dojo. Crimson Katana saves the students and easily defeats Beige using his Hiten Mitsurugi Style. Feeling totally useless and humiliated after his defeat Beige seeks revenge on Crimson and hires Steel Hoof (then known as a fighter-for-hire) to fight Crimson, but this fails. Later, he hires a group of assassins to defeat Crimson. But they too failed and were effortlessly defeated by Crimson Katana.
