Appearance: A bat pony with a faded X shaped scar on the bridge of his snout and a vertical scar on his left eye as well as a few nicks on his ears here and there along with many various bruises and scratches.

Cutie Mark: A Celtic arrow knot that is commonly accepted to be the symbol for brother or brotherhood. It represents deep brotherly bonds with all ponies.

Personality: Big brother has quite an older brother complex where he almost immediately associates anypony he meets to be one of his siblings. He's got a rather inflated sense of humor but can be extremely over-protective of his "family" and becomes dead serious when there's signs of trouble. He can't stand bullies, liars or thieves and tends to "snap" into a completely different pony at the sight of any of them. But overall he's a nice, warm and compassionate pony despite his rather intimidating appearance.

Backstory: A nameless bat pony orphan that never really had a real family. He was always a bit tall for his age and looked rather intimidating to boot. He grew up with an inflated sense of justice from reading too many stories and always stood up for all the little ponies that couldn't defend themselves. In time he grew strong bonds with many little ponies and they gave him the name "Big Brother" shortly after that having his cutie mark appear.<br /><br />Over the years after leaving the orphanage he's met many ponies and protected much of his "family" from harm. He wears his medals of honor on his face and body having many scars and bruises to show for his deeds; while still seeing everypony as a part of the family he never had.
