Appearance: Bistre Scimitar is a tall lean stallion with a black mane and a short beard and mustache.<br /><br />He wears black clothing with a crucifix pendant that hides a little dagger, which gives him the appearance of a Spanish swordstallion. His attire consists of a wide-brimmed black hat, and a black coat and cape.

Cutie Mark: The ultimate giant black blade representing his skill as the best swordstallion in the world.

Personality: Bistre is possibly one of the most serious ponies in Equestria. Very little seems to surprise him, and he rarely smiles or laughs. He never unnecessarily reveals emotions on the battlefield, even when he is trumped.<br /><br />However, he also displays a sense of honor which other swordstallions of his stature seem to lack. He recognizes and respects the swordsman's code and he even permitted weaker swordsstallions who looked up to him for his skill the luxury of training under him for his dedication and selflessness. He is also unafraid to reference his title of "Greatest Swordsstallion in existence" in relation to himself, indicating a high level of confidence in his own abilities.

Backstory: Bistre was prodigy even as a colt. Much of his past remains a mystery. But he is most known for his immeasurable skill with a sword. And he had been responsible for effortlessly destroying entire fleets of ships at sea.
