  • Blizzardshock

    Darkest Day Dreams

    • Age: 15

      Gender: Male

      Species: Pegasus

Appearance: This stallion has a unique grey and white speckled coat. He has a grey and white mane, parshly matching his muti-colored coat. Same with his short, bobbed tail. He has glinting cyan blue eyes that match his hoof rings he got from Canterlot.

Cutie Mark: Blizzardshock's cutie mark is a grey cloud with icy colored bolts appearing out from the bottom. This relates to his name, Blizzardshock, because of the bolts and their appearance. He earned this mark of pride at a young age. He climbed a tall, steep mountain in the middle of a snowstorm to prove he could keep his balence while climbing by flapping his small wings quickly in excersize. This was part of his training, and after climbing without failing, he earned his cutie mark.

Personality: Blizzardshock, as you can tell in the picture, is very curious, and slightly shy. He can also be a door-mat, however, he is quite strong. He loves to soar, and fly, like Rainbowdash, but doesn't do it in public. He usually does training and excersizes behind his house in cloudsdale, or somewhere out in the mountains where no other pony could seek him out.

Backstory: Well, Blizzardshock had a miserable, but interesting life in the past. At first, he was born. His mother was named Shiverberry, and his father was named Furywing. Shiverberry was a white, light pink, and cyan blue mare. Her mane was fixed up like Fluttershy's, although she wasn't shy at all. She was quite social and a loving pony. Never was she to duck down when someone would speak to her, like Blizzardshock. Furywing was a strong, quick stallion. Blizzardshock probably got his strength from him. He was dark blue, with grey speckles. His mane was like Doctor Whooves, though his mane was grey and was like Blizzardshock's. Anyway, onto the story. After being born, Furywing thought that Blizzardshock would be fierce and powerful like him, though he guessed wrong. As a filly, Blizzardshock always hid behind his mother when another pony he didn't know spoke to him, or gave him eye contact. When his mother was making dinner, or another meal of the day, he always asked what she was making, why, and he always wanted to see the meal himself to see if it looked bad. One day, Furywing thought it was ready for him to start flight school, and Shiverberry disagreed because of his weakness in flying. Furywing hesitated. He wanted to prove that Blizzardshock was strong enough. So, 2 hours afer his thinking, he took Blizzardshock out onto the clouds, and tried to teach him how to fly, even though he should of learn himself. Furywing told him it took only a few steps. Jump, flap, forward. He repeated this and tried to help Blizzardshock by raising him a couple feet off the ground and letting go slightly to see if he had the strength to stay in air. Apparntly, he failed many times and dropped onto the soft cloud beneath him. His father tried his best to teach him before winter, but didn't make it. Many ponies were making snow flakes late, so they had some time. Trying a couple more times after days of waiting and practicing, his wings finally got strong enough to hold himself up. In human years, Blizzardshock was 5 when he started practicing flight. When finishing this task, he was 7 in human years. Shiverberry was pleased, but sad that she didn't get to see his first flight. Furywing was absolutly proud, but now was his time to make sure Shiverberry knew what this meant. He was going to flight school early. 2 days later, he was tooken to flight school and was quite scared how all the other foals looked. They looked strong, better then him. However, he didn't try to look weak. He tried to act strong. The moment Furywing left, Blizzardshock lifted his head and walked toward the coach to hear instructions. After a week of attending, Shiverberry found out Blizzardshock was being made of fun of because of his weak flying, and talked to the coach with fury. Furywing, on the other hand, was quite sad. After all the practice he has done, Blizzardshock still isn't fit for flight camp. So, Furywing trained Blizzardshock himself how to be strong, and a good flier. This is when, his cutie mark was destined to appear. Furywing took Blizzardshock out in the middle of a storm to a tall, dark mountain. Blizzardshock thought this was a joke, and complained that he wasn't strong enough. Furywing hesitated once again, and galloped over to the rocks that started up the mountain. Blizzardshock followed with fear, already starting to climb as Furywing yelled to him like Blizzardshock's flight school coach. ''Flap!! Flap your wings my boy!'' He would yell, as the tiny foal would quickly and continuesly flap hi wing. This made it easier for him to climb, however, Furywing was right below him just incase he slipped. After 20 minutes of heaving a exhaustion, he finally made it up, not even noticing his cutie mark, but happily bouncing around that he made it to the top without failing. His father was proud, then pointed to Blizzardshock's flank. Blizzardshock gasped. He didn't even think about his cutie mark. He only thought about how weak he was. After all of this, he was trained some more and sent back to flight school, where he got stronger and shyness decreased as he went.-----Blah Blah, rest of his history his boring.
