Cutie Mark:
<p>
A red heart with a yellow moon in front of it.
</p>
<p>
She is nurturing and loves caring for others. Though her intentions can be eclipsed by her nature and may be misconstrued, she only does what she thinks is best for others.
</p>
Personality:
<p>
Caring, but daft and airheaded, she tries to do what she feels is best for those around her, always thinking about herself last. Though, she can quite often come off as strange, naive or even dumb to those who don't know her, she is actually quite smart but simply lacks some social skills to properly get her intentions across in an easy manner and ends up flubbing most conversations she tries to have with others. She has a very strong will and doesn't let her missteps drag her down, instead doing her best to learn from them so she can try again next time. Those who do overlook her initial awkwardness with find a friend for life. This, however, has also been her undoing multiple times as well as she is generous and kind to a fault and often gets taken advantage of by most ponies willing to do so. Be it doing favors without getting anything in return or something similar.
</p>
<p>
It is rare for others to see her sad or angry, which often builds into episodes while she's by herself if enough emotions accumulate. Though, many have learned the hard way that she has one very sensitive subject that can send this normally caring and chipper pony into a fit: her blind right eye. She doesn't like it being seen or mentioned, and as such attempts to simply hide it behind her mane to make it look more natural.

Backstory:
<p>
Born into a wealthy family and raised in Hollow Shades, Blood Moon was kept apart from Equestria at large. Never allowed outside of the town, even when her parents left on trips, she would be left behind in the house with the same reason given every time: "It's too dangerous outside for our company's heir." As a filly, she simply took that answer and let the housekeepers take care of her. Her wonder for what the world outside of the forest town always burned in the back of her head, only growing each and every time she was denied any chance to see it to the point of becoming unbearable as she grew.

<p>
Once she was nineteen, she grew fed up and one night decided to sneak out of her home when her parents left for another trip and flew off into the night with nothing but a pair of saddlebags filled with food. After days of flying north and being forced to rest nearly every hour due to being stuck inside for her whole life, she eventually found her way to Manehattan and instantly found herself feeling overwhelmed by the amount of ponies and tall buildings around her. This was nothing like what she was used to back home. But she wouldn't let this scare her into going back and took to wandering the streets trying to find a place that would be best for her.

<p>
Sadly, her underdeveloped social skills and near nonexistent knowledge of the world led to her being forced to live on the streets and in alleyways, where she stayed for her first year of her time in the large city. Avoiding ponies looking for her and struggling to find food was the theme of her life now. Until she bumped into a pony who offered to help her get back onto her hooves. With the help of her new friend, she slowly learned how life worked in the city and, though still rather not very well adjusted to the world, she managed to find a job as a nanny for the foals of a more well to do family and finally began to make her way in the world. She was finally in a place she could be happy.
