Personality: Blossom is graceful and strong. She protects herself, minds her own business, and focuses solely on her home, where she attends to her animals, plants, and other life. She can be rather silly, but is otherwise a kind and friendly unicorn.
Backstory: As a unicorn, it was Blossoms job to learn how to use magic and have it solely for her benefit, as many other unicorns do. However, it wasn't long before a day in class when a unique accident occurred. It was a day for the class to learn potion making. Potions aren't unicorn magic, but it's in fact a type of magic, and still counted towards their lessons. The potion was an instant plant growth formula, meant to spread life across withered areas. Blossom, being the focused school nerd she was, was simply doing what she was told, until two stallions in the class decided it would be funny to trip her up. Among pushing her over, her concentration in her levitation spell was lost, and the potion fell directly against her horn, breaking, and the contents within splashing on her. Having been forewarned that the contents were lethal, Blossom was sent home straight away to be cured. After a week of sickness and head spinning, Blossom woke up from her bed to find two red thorns sticking outward on both sides of her head. She traveled all over the village from nurse to nurse where each attempted different things at what they saw. One tried to use magic to wither them, another tried to cut them, and one even thought therapy and medicine would help. Unfortunately, nothing would do. It was eventually decided Blossom was not contagious and was sent back to school after a month. Yet, in an attempt to use a spell they were learning, she felt a strange yet comforting sensation from the thorns in her head, and before she knew it a spell was launched from her horn, zapping the wall opposite of her. Amongst being hit, the wall rooted with flowers of several kinds. Roses, sunflowers, dandelions, and even a small tree came out before the entire wall broke outward from the building! Then, Blossom was sent off into the Everfree forest, where a wise pony lived, and was told that a new kind of training would occur, a training that involved a different kind of magic. The magic of nature.

Among Blossom learning how to use her abilities, she earned her cutie mark, as it represented her talent for flourish and creation in many kinds of architecture, architecture that was all made of different elements from around the world.
