Appearance: Bramble's coat is sand coloured. Her short mane is a green tea-ish shade, and her eyes are a dark red. She wears black glasses. When she is using magic, it is a lighter shade of her mane.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a green maple leaf (think Canadian flag) with a black question mark in the middle. It represents her curiosity about plant-related science.

Personality: Bramble is a not-so-secret nerd and a fan of the Daring Do books. She is generally not a pushover, but can be influenced if you blackmail her. She is quite generous, especially to her friends, but this trait makes her easy to manipulate. She is slightly lupophobic, owing to some trauma in her fillyhood.<br />She is a careful planner and lays out her plans carefully. She is pretty calm in the face of danger, and has intimidated many a creature stopping her travels through the jungles and forests of Equestria. She also prefers to keep to herself, though a spot of socialising won't harm her. <br />Intelligence-wise, Bram is a smart pony. She's a hands-on (hooves-on?) and visual learner and is quick to pick up on stuff.

Backstory: Bramble was born to Book Worm, an earth pony, and Cozy Cuddles, a unicorn mare. Both her parents worked as librarians in the outskirts of Ponyville. Bram grew up near books and developed a lifelong love for them.<br />Unfortunately, her glasses and small stature made her the target of playground bullying as a filly. She never told her parents, fearing they would be disappointed at her. One of these bouts of bullying found her dared by a very popular colt and his gang to go into the Everfree Forest. Relinquishing herself to the peer pressure, she trotted deep into the forest. As expected, she soon found herself lost, and began to cry. After a while, her parents were frantic after finding no sign of Bramble. A member of the gang of bullies finally showed up at their house and confessed the deed.<br />Meanwhile, Bramble was pacing around, trying to find a way out. Suddenly, she heard something growl behind her. Slowly trembling, the young unicorn turned around and faced a hungry timberwolf.<br /><br />Bramble Twist is a botanist.
