Appearance: right is pretty standard size for a pony his age, if maybe a bit thin. He's a salmon colour, on the darker side of pink and only shaded more so by a thin layer of dirt. His mane is sky blue, as is his tail, and falls in multiple definite locks that curls towards his face. He has cyan eyes which compliment his... lack of a cutie mark.

Cutie Mark: He's a blank flank.

Personality: Bright is an inquisitive little colt, always eager to find out about stuff he doesn't know. He is prone to ask about anything that catches his eye and may try to work things he knows nothing about. However, he is also a bit impatient and won't normally stand still long enough to listen to a lengthy explanation before moving on to something else. This also means it can be necessary to repeat yourself in order to make sure his mind didn't wander away mid-explanation. He is also absolutely fearless. Save for some claustrophobia, he shows more curiosity than wariness. This isn't a good thing, though, as his inquisitiveness means he will often walk in harm's way without realizing exactly how risky he is being. Despite being a "blank flank", he doesn't appear to be too broken up about it. Sure, he would like to find his focus, but he doesn't really take much mention of it to heart save to ponder what exactly he's supposed to do. It doesn't help that he isn't much for responsibility. When given a task, he much rather shirk it off and go find something interesting to do. So, say you asked him to clean a chalkboard, most likely you'd return to find it maybe halfway done and him nowhere to be seen, having left to go do something less tedious.

Backstory: Bright was actually born in Canterlot and grew up there for a little bit. However, his parents decided that a change of scenery would be appreciated and didn't want their little colt growing up in the somewhat ritzy style of Canterlot. So they packed their things and set off for new lands to the south. He now lives in the wonderful town of Ponyville but is unfamiliar with the layout of the town and the denizens of it, being new and all.
