Personality: <p> Doubloon, or Captain Doubloon as she likes to call herself, is a sailor who spends most of her time out at sea on her ship the Golden Galleon. A bit of a storyteller, Doubloon enjoys sharing with land-ponies tales of her adventures and swears sea ponies exist. Doubloon is always happy to encourage the young ones about becoming sailors themselves in search of adventure and treasure. While steering her ship, Doubloon is fond of bursting into song and singing sea shanties to entertain her crew & guests. Doubloon is younger then she talks. She likes to give the impression she's done a lot of things and reflects on past events as if they happened a long time ago. She never goes anywhere without wearing her sea captain's hat. Doubloon doesn't believe in using her magic for everyday small tasks and likes to do things herself. She will gladly stand alongside her ship-mates and hold tight the ropes of a sail with her own two hooves. This attitude in magic is most likely brought on by her parents upbringing and the causal use of magic they tried to instill on Doubloon to make themselves feel superior to the other pony races. In Doubloon's parents minds, why carry a plate when you can just use your magic to carry it for you. In fact, Doubloon likes to give ponies the impression that she's an Earth Pony as magic tends to give Doubloon a sense of shame. </p>

Backstory: <p> Doubloon originally hails from Canterlot. She is the youngest in her family and has two older brothers and two older sisters. Doubloon has never been content to live the lavish lifestyle expected of unicorns in Canterlot. At a young age, Doubloon harbored a fondness for the sea and ships. She wanted to live her own life and make her own wealth. Finally the day came that Doubloon was old enough to be out of her own. She wrote her parents a farewell letter, slipped it under their door, and left. From there Doubloon became employed with the Eastern Equestria Company and worked under a Captain by the name of Sea Shanty for several years. Sea Shanty's work in the EEC led him getting promoted to Admiral and the Golden Galleon needed a new Captain to lead it's crew. Doubloon's name was unanimously picked by crew members as the next in line and during the graduation to Captain, the Admiral gave Doubloon his old hat which Doubloon treasures as one her most prized possessions. It was also one of the proudest days in Doubloon's life. </p>
