Cutie Mark: spider web <br />represents her talent for ensnaring innocence foals with the allure of her whimsical nature and fun amusement park. due to her believing that she is a cat she is confused when anyone mentions her cutie mark.

Personality: is whimsical and fun loving, she speaks in a calm soothing tone which hides her cruel sick intentions, due to her grief and insanity she believes herself to be a cat and get violently defensive if her species is called into question. absolutly despises being referred to as a pony.

Backstory: Catherine was born into a wealthy family.Her parents tried to marry her off to a young suitor of another family. Catherine did not want this, she loved a young colt who worked at a theme park. She gave up everything she had to run away with the stallion she loved before her parents married her off. She met him at the park and they agreed to go on the Ferris wheel one last time. However a stray cat bumped the controls and caused a malfunction<br /><br />the malfunction made the Ferris wheel go awry and the accident killed her lover. Catherine had become completely insane she could not turn back and had lost everything.<br /><br />She returned to the carnival where her love had died.She blamed herself for his death which is why she believes herself to be a cat, the literal cause of the accident that killed him. Her obsession with carnivals, marriage, and cats are all part of her past subconsciously manifesting in her minds eye.<br /><br />Carnival Cat is accompanied by her minion Sludge, a formless puddle of black slime that is completely loyal to her mistress and obeys her orders without question(mostly because she can't talk she only communicates in gurgling, slurping, and dripping noises whenever she attempts to vocalize) sludge is referred to as a female because the most used form is a Pegasus mare made of dripping black slime even though technically it has no gender. Catherine created her in order to fill the void left by the death of her lover. Catherine created sludge by fusing the souls of all the dead foals that never escaped the carnival with the oil from the carnival rides. She keeps her around, for ride maintenance , security, and...other needs. Her relationship with Sludge is a mixture of guilt, love and disgust.<br />
