Appearance: Chamomile has a roughly cut dark teal mane and tail with a light creamy coat, along with several dark grey paint-like splotch marks over her body. Her eyes are usually half-lidded unless surprised.
Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a small mortar and pestle with some herbs laying behind it, symbolizing her gift for herbal remedies and potion making.
Personality: Chamomile is a very calm, straightforward character whose level headedness is often what saves her from sticky situations. She is a quiet character, preferring the privacy of her high alpine mountain home and the damp darkness of her cave gardens full of her carefully tended to plants to the company of other ponies. Her strange markings often mark her out as something of a social outcast amongst most pony folk, which is one reason why she prefers her own company.
Backstory: Born to a travelling nomad caravan of ponies making their way through Equestria, Chamomile grew up with the world as her toy; no plant was unknown and no creature a mystery. She travelled with her family until she was of an independant age, and decided to make her own way in the world; her travels lead her to discovering that a quiet life in the mountains growing ingredients and making potions was more favourable than trying to fit in with the rest of society, and thus only befriended the few ponies brave enough, (or foolish enough) to travel through the snowy mountain regions of the Arimasspi territory.

She came to be accepted by the vicious beasts after tending to the injuries of the King of the Arimasspi when she found him half buried in a landslide along a mountain ridge. Chamomile is treated with respect by the rest of the Arimasspi, even after the King passed and a new leader stepped forward - they even go as far as to offer protection to the crops of the Slumber Mill Valley Farms that lie at the foothills of their territory.

Chamomile offers her home and hospitality to those lost in storms or cornered by Arimasspi, and then guides them to the safety of the foothills once the weather clears. Her closest friend is Sunflower (Sunny) Steadfast, an earth pony running the Slumber Mill Valley Farms, which lie just beyond the foothills of Chamomile's mountain home.
