Cutie Mark: A purple broken heart on top of a black magic circle with a purple outline. It's a dark cutie mark, an incomplete cutie mark gained through tradegy rather than discovery. It represents her promise to master unicorn magic despite being an earth pony as well as her talent for cutie mark based hexes.<br />If she ever completes her cutie mark the broken heart would change to a solid one.

Personality: Chrome is often distrustful and easy to upset. Known for jumping to conclusions, she will often judge a ponies entire character based on a single action. However, when her more positive side shines through she's sly, geeky and a little hyperactive.

Backstory: Chromes parents were kind but old fashioned ponies who discouraged Chrome trying to learn magic in the belief that it would only lead to disapointment. When Chrome discovered her talent for using unicorn magic her parents were shocked and shouted at chrome to stop it. She ran away in fear of her parents barring her from magic forever, and in the rain she vowed to master unicorn magic no mater who tried to stop her. She was taken in by a antiques owner who recognized her cutie mark as a dark cutie mark and tried to help her learn as much about magic in hope that it'd help heal her heart. he didn't suceed but was able to give her a charm necklace that would lessen the effects of the dark cutie mark. With this Chrome was able to grow a more possitive side to her personality. After a few years of study she was able to fashion special charms that she could channel her earth pony magic through and use for unicorn basd spells. After 10 years of working as the shopkeepers assistant she decided to leave the antique shop in order to find some way to increase her personal magic enough to use higher level unicorn magic.
