Cutie Mark: Cotton Candy Blast got her cutie mark while working at a fair. Her older sister, Ruby Swirl had volunteered to work the cotton candy booth. On of Ruby's friends showed up, and distracted her. Seeing the many disappointed customers, Cotton decided to start working the booth. One customer in particular, Obsidian Charm, her mother had just passed away a short time ago. She was at the fair by herself, trying to cheer up. Obsidian had come up to the cotton candy booth, and Cotton made some for her. She started playing around with the machine, and ended up creating a very intricate flower out of the sugar. She gave the cotton candy to Obsidian, and she smiled for the first time in the last few weeks, as her and her mother had had a special garden together. Obsidian and Cotton became best friends from then on, and Cotton got her cutie mark.

Personality: Cotton is a very loud, talkative person. however, when it comes to being outgoing, she always likes for someone else to try new things first. She is slowly getting more outgoing, but its taking time. She has minor depression, but once she is around her friends, she perks up almost instantly.

Backstory: Cotton grew up in a typical "white girl" house. She has a dog, her parents were still together, she has 2 sisters, and she even had a white picket fence. She was born in the town of Rainbow falls, along with her little sister, Singing note, and her older sister, Ruby Swirl. Sure, her life seemed perfect, but she slowly became depressed. She lost every special somepony she tried to have, she lots family member after family member, and her parents got more strict. She eventually became suicidal, scared of herself, she ran to her mother, and she took Cotton to the hospital. Cotton has been hospitalized 5 times for suicidal thoughts, each stay ranging anywhere from 2 days to one month. She recently moved out into an apartment with her best friend, Obsidian Charm, and her ex.
