Appearance: A Time Pony (Ponyverse equivalent of a Time Lord) Courier and Harbinger appear as any normal Pegasus.<br />Courier's coat is a simple white, while his mane and tail are a dark oak color. His eyes are green.<br /><br />Harbinger is a much darker color scheme. His coat is a near black metallic grey, while his mane and tail, which are longer and more unkempt than Courier's, are a very deep red. His eyes are a deep blue.

Cutie Mark: Courier's cutie mark is simply a pocket watch, stamped with his name in Gallopfreyan. The name is very abstract and difficult to see. It's meaning is simply that he is a Time Traveler. <br /><br />Harbinger's is his name in Gallopfreyan created in a metalwork statue, however, it is very battered and burning, so again, it is difficult to see.

Personality: Courier is completely unaware of his being a Time Pony. He is still very intelligent, and interested in historical happenings, and does his best to help. While he behaves eccentrically most of the time, he is still a very down to earth pony.<br /><br />Harbinger is a psychologically cruel individual. While he isn't inclined to cause physical harm, he is good at detecting a pony's flaws, and exploits them, making them doubt themselves. He is just as, if not more, intelligent as Courier, but doesn't entirely care what his actions cause, so long as it doesn't effect him. Harbinger is fully aware of his being a Time Pony, and is everlastingly frustrated with Courier's not knowing this, despite being thankful for it, as he is able to remain undetected by his other half that way.

Backstory: A Time Pony who was born and raised on Gallopfrey, the Ponyverse Equivalent of Gallifrey, Courier, who once went by the name Watcher, was a Gallopfreyan Soldier, and guard.<br />When the Doctor arrived on Gallopfrey, a very young Celestia and Luna in tow, he was the first to greet them. He recognized the Doctor as a something like a Time Pony who wasn't from this universe.<br /><br />Over the years that the Doctor lived on Gallopfrey, with Celestia and Luna still with him, he and Courier became good friends.<br /><br />When the Doctor unwittingly released the great evil that the Time Pony's had kept locked in the Untempered Schism, a Draconequus much like Discord, the spirit began to destroy Gallopfrey. The Spirit toyed with the Doctor's emotions, realizing that he was something of a parallel to the others, and that he had destroyed his Gallifrey, began to pound it into him that the destruction of Gallopfrey was his fault. <br />When Watcher had attempted to fight off the Spirit, he was struck down, and began to regenerate. The Draconequus cast a spell on him, much like Discord's spell, which caused him to literally be two separate versions of himself sharing the same body, and teleported him from the burning planet and to Equestria.<br /><br />While there, he first awoke as Harbinger, who fully remembered everything. While Harbinger has less control over the body, thus he is hardly ever in the form of Harbinger, he is still somewhat of the more powerful side. Feeling himself slipping from control, he chose the name Harbinger, based off of his dislike of the Doctor. Despite being friends with him in his past regeneration, he took the Spirit's words to heart, and blames the Doctor for the destruction of his planet. Harbinger bestowed his other half with the name Courier, upon seeing a mail pony in the distance, and it was the first thing that came to mind.<br /><br />When Courier awoke, he remembered absolutely nothing of his past life, only that at some point he'd been named Courier. Taking his name as something of a sign, he took up the mail pony profession.<br /><br />Every now and again, Harbinger is able to take control. While he remembers absolutely everything that Courier does, Courier is completely unaware of Harbinger's existence. Harbinger uses his time in control to formulate a false life for Courier, coming up with his family tree, where he once lived and everything - even an excuse for his having two hearts, all based in Equestria. It is a goal of his to keep Courier from discovering his being a Time Pony, as he believes once he does he will remember everything about his past and be able to purge Harbinger from existence.
