Appearance: <p> Crimson is an average sized earth pony with a deep red coat, gold mane, and teal eyes. She keeps her mane in a short ponytail, and usually wears a red and white patterned bandanna around her forehead.  </p>

Cutie Mark: <p> Crimson's cutie mark is a red shooting star. It represents both her fiery nature and her drive to go above and beyond, and Crimson likes to think it shows just how bright she can really shine. </p>

Personality: <p> Ever since she was a filly, Crimson was always driven and competitive. Nothing but the best would satisfy her, and her personal motto is "Second place is the first loser." Along with that, Crimson isn't afraid to speak her mind or take charge of whatever situation she's in, although sometimes being in charge can overshadow actually working with others. While she's fiercely competitive, Crimson is also fiercely protective of anyone who's close to her, and she has a particular soft spot for children. She also takes betrayal and dishonesty at a deep level, and she sees both as some of the worst things someone could do. </p>

Backstory: <p> Crimson was born in Manehattan and was oldest of four siblings, and the expectations were always high for her. She had no trouble delivering though. Crimson's academic performance was above average at best, but where she truly excelled was sports. Crimson could tackle any sport she wanted to and would do excellently without fail, but, in a move nobody expected, she joined the Royal Guard after graduating. Crimson saw it as a better challenge to her abilities than just taking a sports scholarship, and a challenge it was. Her time in the Guard pushed her physical and mental limits, but she pushed through and rose through the ranks. After several tours of duty, she left the guard in seek of other adventures. </p>
