Appearance: Crystal Tower has a white coat, a light blue mane, and light blue eyes. He is almost always cloaked in a cloak of majestic purple, and is always wearing an incredibly silly hat. He has a short beard, which he keeps neatly trimmed.

Cutie Mark: A crystal ball wreathed in lightning.

Personality: He can sometimes be grumpy and short tempered, especially in the mornings, but is usually nice and pleasant to deal with. He treats even the lowliest members of society with respect, and is always polite to those under his rule. He is very loyal to his friends and allies, and expects them to be loyal to him in return. Woe be it to the pony who betrays or crosses him for he will never forgive or forget them, and do everything in his power to get his revenge. He is a shrewd negotiator, and much prefers diplomacy over violence.

Backstory: Crystal Tower was born to a powerful unicorn couple, and was taught magic from an extremely young age. When he was old enough, he was sent to a top university for young gifted unicorns. At first the other young unicorns bullied him, but when he began to show signs of being very powerful in magic, they instead tried to curry favor with him. Sickened by his classmates' two-faced natures, he mostly ignored them altogether, and threw himself into his studies. After a few years he graduated with flying colors. Most unicorns got a job as soon as they graduated, but not Ivory Tower. Instead, he decided to travel the land, helping whoever he could with his magic. He did this for several years, right up until the High Magi died. As was custom, a magic competition was held to determine who the next High Magi would be, and who would serve under the High Magi as regular Magi. Ivory Tower entered the competition, and quickly proved himself without peer. After the competition was over he was elected as High Magi, as ponies all over the land remembered the kind deeds he had preformed while he was traveling. He has ruled Medeis ever since.
