Cutie Mark: The Cutie Mark is a black bat hanging upside-down with its wings folded over itself. It symbolizes Dancing Shadow's secrecy and elusive past, but also his excellent hearing and affinity to nocturnal creatures.

Personality: DS is relatively quiet, and keeps out of most conversations. He has a dark sense of humor, although this is not noticed very often, as he is very secluded and stays away from most civilization.

Backstory: No one really knows where Dancing Shadow actually comes from, not even himself. His earliest memories are of traveling with his two 'Uncles' Perching Robin and Allabar. They claimed to have found him, crying, by a stream near the Everfree Forest, and to have taken care of him since. Dancing Shadow eventually left them at the age of 12 to find some trace of his past. Wandering all over Equestria, he gradually found that he didn't care much for the attention of others, so he eventually settled down in a secluded cave somewhat near to Ponyville.
