Personality: Darktist can be shy with strangers, but once you get to know him he won't stop talking! Outgoing and strange in fantastical ways, Darktist may not be the coolest pony, but he'll be a loyal friend. He spends his free time listening to music and drawing, often wandering the woods and caves.

Backstory: Darktist was hidden from most ponies for a while, and wasn't found until Pinkiepie, while exploring managed to coax him out with a shy smile after her trademark Smile Song. Believing in his kindness at heart behind his dark appearance, she managed to get him talking, until he finally joined Ponyville as a resident.
